Better than iPhone option
Doubted this product based on the mixed reviews, but took a chance as current setup was a Chromecast. It’s been amazing so far, I’m purely using for streaming like Netflix and prime and it ticks all my boxes. Simple to use once you have played around, adjusting screen size and anchoring work well, but I don’t move around when using. I have iPhone 12, but have used glasses with iPad before, glasses work far better with beam pro due to belowAnchoringSmooth followUI control with pointer or simple swipes (not trying to navigate iPad with glasses on).

Ok I guess
The beam pro is a basic android device with the glasses software app. It also enables app download from playstore. The camera system is a spatial camera but can also be used as a normal camera. There are not many glasses specific apps yet, I can see myself using my phone more than this rather than carry 2 around with me.

quick and easy stereo camera
Read the online reviews. The choise of a stereo camera is a very personal thing and is a balance / compromise of all the possible characteristics. This is a quality design of a quick and easy stereo camera. It is not a leica

Disappointed but may have been me! (Now to be amended)
I loved the idea of the combination of the xreal beam pro and the xreal pro glasses. As soon as they arrived I started to try to set them up. My phone is an IPhone 14 and there is no app on iOS for the xreal, so I had to set up an android account on the beam pro. This was no problem and eventually I was asked to put on my glasses. I put them on and saw the screen saying nebula which then proceeded to a setup come tutorial which ended with a view of all the android apps. The beam pro is a kind of mouse/pointer and the square dots set large in the screen centre can be pressed there is a pointer spot aimed by moving the beam pro and this is where my problems started. I was underthe impression that you pushed the home button to access apps, but I soon found this was not so . A click was required on the touchpad of dots above the home button. Once I found this it was great.Imagine my disappointment next day when switched on my glasses and beam and was told that my update had failed and to unplug my glasses and reinsert them and every time I did this I got the same response. That was my first reaction to the problems I had with these devices and resulted in me returning them. However I still never saw any bad reviews of either device so decided to reorder them. I am really glad I did, I received the new items on Sunday and have used them every day since. I am still an Apple person but even if I could afford the Vision Pro it is not something you could walk around town wearing as you can with the Xreal devices. I have still had issues having once returned the beam pro to factory settings due to a download problem over a game. I don’t really play games so I just didn’t bother trying to download it again. All in all I can now wholeheartedly recommend these devices, especially the Beam Pro and the Nebula OS.
