These needles are ridiculous. They're huge. I mean, they're as described, but they're much thicker than I was expecting, even the smallest one. Good price. Maybe one day I'll make a rug, then they'll come in handy.

I wanted to join several cushions to use on a lounge chair. These needles are approximately the width of a knitting needle and handled yarn well in this application.

A great deal to get a wide range of sizes.Note: The smallest 4" needle is a blunt point needle. It might look like the sharp end was broken off but if you look at some of the photographs it looks like it's not supposed to be sharp and instead is a blunt end needle. I tried a return and got the same set. The pictures in the listing are a bit misleading as some show all needles should be sharp but other show the smallest is blunt.

These needles are sturdy, thick, heavy, sharp and have large eyes for easy threading. The variety of sizes is perfect for what I needed, sewing arms and legs on teddy bears. I have been using regular needles for years and ran across upholstery needles and found these. They are perfect. For the price, I don’t think you could find much better needles. I also like the storage case included. If you need upholstery needles or long, heavy duty needles, these are a great option.

The needs I received had polished smooth eyes so the thread doesn't catch and shred. I took some regular yarn that catches on everything and looped it through the eye of each needle to check for rough spots. I do this with any needles that are going to be pulled and tugged hard. I wiggled the yarn all around and pulled hard, but it did not catch at all. This is sometimes a problem with larger eye needles that I have gotten in the past. These were very smooth. The needles are quite sturdy and the assortment of lengths is a great plus. I also occasionally use them as makeshift bodkins when needed. They work well and I can't wait for cooler weather so I can re-tuft my daughter's chair.

these needes are large and sturdy! theyre working really well for my projects. it does come with a handy case for them too.

I got these needles because I want to upholster my husband's vintage chaise lounge and need to get through a 7 inch thick pad in order to replace the tufting buttons. These needles are extremely strong and thick, so the heavy thread slides through the fabric with ease. The 10 inch needle will work perfectly with some nylon twine to attach the new buttons so the pad has that diamond pattern and looks brand new again. I'm sure I will also find uses for the 4, 6, 8, & 12 inch needles as well, since I need to repair a camping tent and a tear in my automobile seat. Excellent product for a great asking price!
