Lovely Ambient Light
These candles are beautiful. We have one in a lantern and the other in a cloche arrangement in our dining room. Ours are on a timer so they come on for a few hours each evening. As another reviewer noted, the remote does not dim the lights as promised; however, for our purposes, that is not an issue. We’re pleased with their performance and the battery life so far. They flicker just enough and look amazing in the proper setting and arrangement. They add a cozy feel to our space and the price point was sufficient. A good purchase all around!

Look decent from a distance
I have had these on the mantle for a week or so and my daughter liked them enough I think she is going to order herself a set. My wife is not as excited about them. They look cheap in person, the look identical with the same markings in the same locations. The markings look printed on up close. From a distance they look more realistic. The candle or flame is not very flame like. It dims and brightens but doesn't move or flicker at all. The timer works nicely. I set it to run for 6 hours, and it's been turning on about 5 every day since and going off around 11 I guess since I am not waiting around to see. They are off in the morning though. The flame is dimmable from the remote and the remote does work. It must be infrared because you can hit one candle without the other but if you are standing back a way it gets both. I do like that they use a pair of AA batteries instead of AAA or coin batteries. Should make them last longer.

Great decorations
We like this candles as they bring a special warmth to our living room and they are super safe for the kids as they aren’t real. Battery life is great as well as good brightness.

These are very cheap looking plastic candles, birch pattern not realistic. Remotes does work well.
