Bought to replace my old solar charger , i love it, i just dont like the fogged plastic over the green and blue lights that shows its solar charging makes it dim, also dont like how finicky it is with sun light, my old one would charge off any light source, this one wont and it has to be in direct sunlight even a sliver of sun leaves the solar part and it stops charging

a must have for power outages. Solid built.

I keep a power bank in the glove box of our SUV for those times when we need juice for our tech and are out and about. The one I had in there before stopped working after about 6 years (I would top off the recharge every three months, so it was always ready to go) but it was a low-end unit that did its job but now it was time for something better! I wanted a power bank that not only had a huge capacity, but was also rugged and could do some solar recharging as we mainly use the power bank at my son's travel baseball games or my daughter's twirling competitions. This way, we don't have to run back to the car for a quick charge when our cell phones and tablets would get low on power. Luckily, I found this very cool Power Bank by Hiluckey that does an excellent job at recharging our stuff! It's super rugged, so I don't have to worry if I drop it off the top of the bleachers or it gets stepped on by one of my kids when they are celebrating one of their great accomplishments and come running over to us!The solar charging feature is a very nice add-on and makes it easy to keep the power bank charged as we use it up over the entire day. It holds an awesome 27,000 mAh of power which can charge up me and my wife's iPhones and our iPad's with no issues and we still have plenty of power to spare! So much power that several parents have asked to bum a quick charge from us. Maybe I should start charging them a fee! Lol! It has three outputs, a USB-C in/out port and two USB-A output ports, so it charge up to three devices simultaneously. And the best part is that at the end of the day and it starts getting dark, you can easily use the built-in 60 LED flashlight to light your way back to the car, 5 Stars!

First of all, I have to say this is a great thing to have if you're camping, overlanding or something of the sort. Leaving it in the sun all day while hiking and coming back and using it to charge my phone overnight is great. Second, the light helps at times while in the tent.As for the charging, it takes a while for the battery to charge all the way up, and it's not super super fast at charging my phone. But again, it does what other chargers don't, by having the ability to charge it with the sun. So good trade off.

I'd been looking for a solar power bank for a fountain I use outdoors that is powered by usb. However, the solar function does Nothing to extend the run time. I tested it with the solar panels covered and it made no difference in how long the fountain would run on a full charge.That being said the charge using a wall outlet to charge lasts 4 days after fully charging to run the fountain. But charging from empty to full takes 12-14 hours, not 8 as noted in the product description.I also used this to charge my phone and it takes 2-3 times longer to charge with this power bank as opposed to charging via the charger that came with my phone.It's great that the power bank lasts so long on a full charge. But not great that the solar function does not seem to work especially since it's marketed for use while camping, hiking and doing other outdoor activities.

I've never understood why battery packs come with lights on them as that just kills the battery when used and adds to the cost. This one has the one whole side opposite the solar panel as a light and it's pretty overkill but doesn't make a lot of light of course. The solar panel is super handy to charge the pack if you have the ability to leave it in the sun all day of course. It's a somewhat thin design for how long it is so that's a plus.

It's a power bank that can charge your devices via USB while also being able to charge itself via solar power. It definitely charges faster if you plug it in, but having a backup option to keep it slowly charging while not in use is nice. The LED light included is also a nice touch and is fairly bright for small spaces or a tent. This one is going to stay with my emergency kit as I have other power banks to use, but this is the only one that can charge itself.
