It was the amazing depth of colour that caught my eye and the stylish cut of all the fingers.The generous flare on the wrist with very fancy stitching made the choice of hand protection almost easy.I purchased these for Julie as she motioned to me that Duncan's hands are too rough for grouting the upstairs bathroom ceiling and that he also got a splinter from the futon base in the spare bedroom.?He was supposed to be fixing her yoga mat! Do not machine wash!!!. A wipe with a damp cloth should remove any unexplained sticky fluids that build up?.

X-Large are too small despite an accurate palm measurement of 240mm.Also the elasticated wrist feature is 40mm short of my wrist rendering it useless in preventing dirt ingress.The finger fit is almost there, just 12=15mm short, this is probably the best I've had from off the shelf gloves re finger fit.The leather is soft and supple, but because of the tightness of the fit, I know from previous experience the seams will quickly split.In my opinion, the gloves are too narrow and too short for the European market and buyers should consider buying the next larger size.If the seller did an incremental XX-Large size, it might then fit my 'average sized' large handUnfortunately, These will be returned.

For once some unisex leather work gloves that actually fit a woman!I find gloves for women far too small, or not designed as well for sturdy work.Most gloves that cater under the title of unisex tend to skew towards mens fitting. Especially the length of the fingers.For once, this seems to truly be a unisex fitting. Maybe the thumb could have been a bit smaller in length, but it's bearable.So far these have held up well, and I look forward to seeing how they perform in the winter weather.

(Full Review)I have to say that surely there are other people out there with XX-large hands and longer than average fingers...  So why is it so hard to find a pair of gloves to fit properly!! Be it work gloves or any other type.Well I'm very happy to say that these do, just about, fit an extra large sized hand. They were the third pair I tried from two other reputable companies, 1 of which were very costly and stated to be of the best quality and fit. Quality they were but fit... as you can see I am not writing my review about those.Now the quality of this pair are quite good and for the price very good. All the stitching is perfect and reinforced, and the material on the outside is hard wearing quality real leather. The inner material is comfortable and soft.The elastic around the top the wrist is mostly pointless and doesn't serve any purpose so if you are after a tight hold then probably better to look elsewhere. For me, I needed all the space I could so this is fine and length wise it totally covered the wrist area.The fingers are a decent length aswell. I could have done with slightly more but I have had the same issue with every adult pair of gloves I've owned so these are no different and they will soften over time like previous pairs have.When I 1st made a fist it felt a little rough on the backs of my fingers but soon softened and I don't notice anymore.There is a good range of movement and I'm able to feel what I'm gripping despite being a little padded which is excellent.Normally I would mark down 1 star because of the strong factory smell that is coming from the inside of the gloves which after use even with soap is hard to remove from your hands. However at this time it was the only pair that actually fit me properly so I'm prepared to put up with it. But still worth mentioning as you may not be happy with that. I haven't noticed my hands turning yellow at all which is a plus point as some similar type gloves can stain your hands. These are fine with no colour transference so far.So over all I'm very happy with these as far as quality of materials, overall fit and price. I believe they are hard wearing and should last a long time. They also come in a variety of colours and styles.I bought them for general garden work. They prevent the majority of smaller thorns but won't stop rose or blackberry thorns, but they weren't designed to.After I've gotten some proper wear from them I may update this review but it's too early to comment on the long term as a guarantee as yet, though there's no reason they won't last well as far as it looks and feels.I'd be more than happy to purchase from this seller again when I need to.For once they are exactly as described and specifically the measurements stated in the description and pictures are accurate.Thankyou for reading my Full Review and if you've found it at all Helpful then please let me know.

I bought these for a friend who does a lots of gardening and needs good quality gloves and he is thrilled with them, he thinks they will wear well and he won't lose them as the colour is good and bright so when he takes them off he can see them if he wanders off and leaves them! They were a very reasonable price for a good well made gardening gloves.

I bought these as garden gloves,and give good protection.I had some brambles and roses to deal with and had no problems,thought it depends I suppose on the strength of the thorns.But in my case they were fine.And comfortable too.Good value and cheaper than the nearest equivalent.

I chose to purchase the large sized glove and it was a snug fit when I put them on but they have stretched a bit with use and I am very pleased with them. The leather is soft and pliable and they are comfortable to wear as well as being hard wearing and impervious to the thorns on the bushes and trees that I have been cutting downThey appear to be very well made and the stitching looks long lastingI would certainly buy these again ... and also buy the same size once more

These are excellent gloves and good value for money. They were deliverd promptly and turn out to be comfortable for me (large hands). The leather is soft, so has reasonable 'feel' for working with tools, but have reinforced pads to make them harder wearing and allow safe grasp of sharp objects, protection from rose thorns etc. Although I can't say yet how long tvhey will last, like most leather, if kept dry, should be good for some time: overall a good buy.
