Perfect
My boiler had broken down and the issue was the condensate being attached to the soil stack and we had a blockage which then climbed up through the condensate pipe and into the boiler, this little device has stopped this every happening again, easy to install just cut out small bit of pipe and fit it on just like you would with any compression waste fitting ( has to be fitted in a vertical piece of pipe ) easy fix

Effectively stops water backflow.
I use this with a cellar pump to stop backflow into a cellar water sump. It works perfectly.
