Healthy food that they LOVE
Our cats are very particular about their food, but this brand seems to be the new favourite. They actually prefer it as the pellets instead of mushing them, which I'm happy about. They drink a lot of water with it too and they are always very energized after food too. Also noticed that our black cat's fur has become so soft and shiny (she used to have dandruff), I'm sure its because of the great quality ingredients in her new diet. I'd absolutely recommend this, but I know it is pricey and cats are picky so maybe try with the smallest bag. And yes, it does smell, of course, this is freeze dried chicken bits at the end of the day.

We love Feline Natural products!
This is my favorite freeze dried product for meals, but with the price point is high for a small size it’s better off as a topper to boost the nutrient value of something like Friskies or Fancy Feast. The pellets are small so as a topper they’re perfectly bite-sized. Also very easy to crush and mush in warm water or goat milk as a meal on its own.Feline Natural has an awesome blend of ingredients that provide a high protein content, and also recipes that don’t include fish. I like that they include NZ green lipped mussels for joint health. My cats LOVE mussels but I don’t like to buy whole freeze dried mussels since they’re really expensive so to include them in these recipes is a great bonus. The list of ingredients isn’t long and everything is recognizable.Smells like meat and everything that a cat’s proper meal should smell like. It isn’t over-powering or off-putting, but it isn’t appealing to humans of course. Lol.I feel confident when I feed this to my 3 cats that they’re getting a great, nutrient-rich meal whether I feed it alone or as a topper. My female cat, Mia, who is the most sensitive, never has any digestive issues after consuming FN. On top of that, all 3 of my cats LOVE every recipe FN has to offer. I’ve never had a single problem with them eating any of the recipes.Five stars. Love it. Just wish it wasn’t so expensive but it’s understandable as to why it is. (Occasionally our local independent pet store has free 1oz samples so I like to go there and check!)

Blending the ratio recommended makes a liquid meal they love. Recommend for gravy or a liquid diet.
I understand that removing water in freeze drying means that water must be added back. I do not permit my cats to eat this dry even though supposedly it says that I could. The food would require water from someplace to become useful and therefore it could be expected that physical pellet expansion would happen on the stomach. As a careful feeder I let this expansion occur before the eating. Dry kibble needs water in much the same way it seems, but the process making that is heat which alters the structure. The meat is meal and bits of many other things. What makes this different is that the mixture is made of whole body parts and just a few things added. I followed the instructions of ratio for preparing. One cup of this freeze dried food mixed with one cup warm water. It is quizzical then that it would not be fully absorbed the way I expect. Chi la of food difficult to chew that I have to squeeze with my fingers. So the thought occurred to me that I could use a process of measuring, waiting and blending. I thought that surely it would thicken as a puree in blended form in fifteen minutes.First, my cats are puree eaters. They love puree. The one-to-one ratio does not puree. It liquifies in the blender. When I go through the process and pour this liquid in serving cups, they eat it like they have never eaten anything before. All that moisture being lapped up with their tongues, and all that food with it. Just so anyone here can know, that these cats drink it and they finish their portions with commitment within minutes. Then they do not ask me for any more food for an entire 24 hours. They are calm. Sated. They sit next to me and they are not begging. They sleep. They are really taking to this liquid, but they have dry food on free choice they nibble on. I feel like this liquid form might be good for their digestion and hydration. I am in the first few days of this strategy. It relaxes me to have calm cats. If I add less water, I would worry about their teeth chewing on raw bits. With liquid they do not have that issue. I also add dental health additive to the food water so I know they have it.My cats hopefully will continue benefiting. I did not see anyone writing another review about the liquid result from blending the recommended proportions. I do not know if a full to.e liquid diet is good or bad. That is why the thickness is "3" but they take it in enthusiastically.

Not such a natural food for that price.
For the first time in my cats' five years of life, they had a vomiting reaction to a few grams of food. I vomited on the first day of feeding, a few days later and every time they ate this food. Of course I will never feed this to my babies again.

Sharp Bone Shards may not be wise for older cats - But an excellent product for other healthy cats.
This product seems very well sourced and made. However, although I would like to keep using - but after re-hydrating the product my (older) cat had a VERY difficult time swallowing the small, SHARP, bone pieces in the formula. For using the rest of the bag, I immersion blended the dry product, and then pressed through a screen collander (very time consuming), to separate out the tiny shards of bone. A young, very healthy cat should not have a problem with this product.Update: Thank you! for your offer of a full refund, but NO, I do not want a refund. You have created a wonderful product, and I'm asking you to not change a thing. I wrote my feedback to be positive and honest information only, not to cause you any harm.
