Twisters - Collector's Edition Blu-ray + Digital

I just watched my new UHD BluRay of the movie Twisters. This is the 3rd time watching this movie. Twice via streaming and the third was watching this UHD BluRay disc. I really liked the original Twister movie but this remake is definitely one of my favorite movies now. It has it all. A good story, excellent characters that have great chemistry, and the Dolby ATMOS sound and visual effects are amazing. I was also impressed with the music/soundtrack. It had great music throughout the whole movie. The bonus features at the end of the disc that showed how they rendered the tornadoes and created the storms sound effects were very informative. This remake is definitely better than the original in my opinion. I highly recommend this movie and the UHD BluRay disc!

If you’re considering buying this disc, you obviously like the film so no need to review the movie. The video quality on disc is clearly going to be leagues better than any streaming format. Excellent audio and video quality here.

This is a very good movie. Action packed.Love it.

Awesome 4K / Dolby Atmos movie.

I like storm chasing documentaries, and like the theme of the movie. I just was not that impressed with the characters or plot in this film. Maybe its just me but it felt like too much high schoolish drama that was kind of annoying, and too many AI generated twisters (mixed in with some real footage at least). I think building some suspense before everyone gets into the middle of a twister, and making the characters more likeable would have helped me enjoy it more. It was a decent film though overall.

If this had been done up like a true sequel, I can almost guarantee I would NOT have liked it. When the original came out, it was okay for the time. Being a meteorologist and a former chaser, though, it was disappointing. As portrayed, tornadic storms do not come up and behave like it has intelligence. But it was a theatrical movie, not a documentary. The new movie was even more so, and it was no pretense that it was a movie, even a chick flick. They could have cast it better, a native Oklahoman doesn’t speak with an English accent, although she does good at trying to cover it.

Great movie

This movie is a fun ride and an excellent reference disk for an Atmos home theater sound system due obviously to the sound effects but also to the music. Amazing music soundtrack is superbly produced, recorded and presented in Dolby Atmos. (The music soundtrack album is also available on Apple Music by the way).
