Perfect fit for my Klira Bass Violin

I own a German-made, 1973 Hofner 500/1. This case fits perfectly. I also wanted a strong, secure case, because this bass obviously has some value and I still play it out. I am very happy with everything about this case.

This hard shell case is well made for the money. It will fit the current Hofner Ignition replica (2021), which I have like a glove. It is true, the case is tight but works well. I had to remove my soft bass strap and curl it put to fit it under the neck stock area. My strap is a quick release type, so no big deal. There is a small flap pocket storage for picks and maybe a clip on tuner. Overall, very pleased with the purchase and would recommend if you own a Hofner violin style bass.

Good case for a horner. Well built, but don't buy it for any thing but a horner. To tight for other violin basses.
