This waxing kit is designed for either nose or ear waxing at home. The wax is included in a cup-like container, designed so that it is easier to take out of the microwave I suppose.The instructions suggest that you heat the wax for a couple of minutes, test itand reheat if necessary. For my microwave it took about 7-8 minutes to melt the wax to a point where it coule be applied to the applicator sticks and used – just got to see how it works with each microwave.The applicators are disposable – one use and their done. They have a flat surface that is wide enough to give a decent grip to help position the applicators. The wax takes about 2-3 minutes to harden before you should remove the applicator, and it certainly grabs all of the little hairs that are difficult to remove otherwise.There are some soothing wipes to use externally if you need to, but it’s not something that I’ve needed to use. Overall, even though it’s my first time trying waxing my ears/nose, this set works well and having to just use it once a month it could last almost a year.

The wipes efficiently removed the wax from my mustache and any other areas where it got onto the skin. Using the mustache guards in subsequent attempts prevented this issue.Overall, this kit is comprehensive and offers great value. Takes a bit of trial and error getting the consistency right with timings and microwave power, which will differ for most people, but for me 3 to 4 mins at 200watts seems to work well. Simple, clear instructions with safety in mind. Works well for removing nasal and ear hair (though the later is not mentioned in the instructions). I don't think the wipes are really necessary and I had no need for the moustache protectors as I don't have a moustache, but I would imagine these to be absolutely invaluable it I had.

Everything you need to wax those pesky nose hairs away.I usually use small scissors to trim my nose hairs but feel that I can miss some and its always a little scary using scissors up your nose. When this kit arrived I wanted to use it straight away and somehow convinced my husband to go first! Following the instructions (which are a little basic but enough to get it right) I heated the wax up in my microwave for 2 mins and then kept going at 30 second intervals until I thought the wax was at the right consistency. This took less than 5 mins in all.I dipped the applicator stick into the wax and it was to runny so had to wait a few moments for it to cool a little more. Once all was good I stuck it up his nose squeezed it together and waited 2 minutes. Pinching the top of the nose and lifting it slightly upwards I gave a good hard tug and it came right out with almost all of his nose hair, he didn't even flinch (I was slightly disappointed by this) he to couldn't believe that it hardly hurt! Because tweezing just one single hair is enough to make your eyes water!I had to give it a try myself and agreed that this method is fast, efficient and painless!This is a great little kit to have and will last a long time to come, based on how many uses we will get from this and the price its a steal! It cost about the same price to have it done once at a barbers.Happy and hairless!!
