After a week usage, the rubber part came out from the stopper. No use. Waste of money

I had tried numerous ways to hold my garage door open. Bricks, rocks, boxes etc. this door stop solved my problem.

I replaced a standard door stop with this and it works great. Easy to install and no longer have to bend over to raise it back up.

I drilled it into the door to hold my garage door up. I also sprayed clear coat on it to prevent it from rusting in the future because I mounted this outdoors. Holds the door well and operates well!

Another great product offering from AmazonBasics that delivers on price and performance. I installed this on the door to the garage. I had previously used a step stool to prop the door open when I needed to move multiple items to and from the garage. Packaged in frustration free bubble wrap. I didn't use the installation template provided. Instead, I marked the 3 holes with the door stop flush against the door and rubber foot portion firmly on the ground with the door open. When in doubt, shift the location down at least a couple centimeters for a firmer grip of the ground. In my first attempt, there was a small enough gap between the floor and the door stop that it did not hold the door open properly. The door stop functionality itself is very easy to use. Activate by flipping downward with your foot. Retract by simply stepping firmly on the lever. Build quality is solid.
