Q: Only one review stated the overwhelming smell was too much . What is your experience ?

There was no overwhelming smell on the curb stop that I purchased. It is functioning perfectly and there is no odor at all. Highly recommend for use in your garage.

Q: How much does it weigh?

Weight was in the description. I bought the two pack curb bundle. You save a lot compared to buying separately. Both mine arrived packaged together. Industrial tape held them together. I think they are like 20 to 25 lbs per each one. I attached with 4 inch velcro on garage floor. It worked great!!! No bolts.

Q: what kind of bolts are recommended?

I really hate that people won’t answer the question. They didn’t ask “should you mount them?” It was just how. I used 3/8” x 6” Simpson strong-tie concrete lag bolts from Home Depot. They were about $3 each. Each rubber bumper has 4 holes. I would recommend a 1/2” washer to distribute the load a bit. The hole in the bumper will accept a 1/2” bolt but they are significantly more expensive. The bolt only needs to be 3” to reach the concrete, but the manufacturer recommends more than 2” embedment, so 5” long bolt minimum. Be careful not to over tighten the bolt - it is fairly easy to “squish” the rubber down and deform the shape of the bumper.

Q: Do these have a bad odor
