Dr. Collins Natural Toothpaste, Vanilla Mint with Goji Berry, 4.2 Ounces

This toothpaste has a very mild, pleasant (spear)mint taste - a welcome change from some of the overpowering mint toothpastes from Crest, Colgate, or Toms Of Maine. However, the fact that they call this flavor "Vanilla Mint with Goji Berry" is misleading - there is no vanilla nor Goji berry taste here. Marketing hype at best.That said, keep in mind that this is a fluoride-free paste. It uses Tea Tree Oil and Magnolia Bark to fight bad breath bacteria, and Xylitol and silica to reduce cavities and gently polish and whiten your teeth. Also, there is no Sodium Laurel or Laureth Sulfate, so be forewarned, this paste will not foam like other commercial pastes. For me, this is a minor drawback, as I have to add more paste to the toothbrush to make sure my teeth will be covered when I brush. I also find the paste a bit thin and watery, so it doesn't stick to the teeth much (on the positive side, that means it is easy to rinse off). My teeth do feel clean after I brush though.Overall I'd give this 3.5 stars. It is a welcome change of pace and is reasonably priced. However, my next tube will be something that has a bit more thickness and generates more foam, like the Auromere brand.

I love to try new things, especially when it comes to body care or spa stuff. I have tried many different fluoride + sulfate free toothpastes and I always end up back here. This was the first natural I ever tried and it’s always been my favorite. It has a high concentration of xylitol that polishes teeth and actually inhibits bacterial growth. Great for sensitive teeth as well. And also good for people who don’t like strong flavors, that being said the flavor is really good. I’ve never had a problem with this one. Highly recommend

finally, i have found an efficient toothpaste that does not sting the tongue and tissues of my mouth. i developed an allergy to ingredients in both Sensedyne and Tom's toothpaste. brushing became very painful. dr. Collins toothpaste provides much less stinging while cleaning my mouth. Hooray!

I bought this along with another natural toothpaste due to major brands were irritating a mouth condition. This burned just as much as those that included fluoride and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. Not the toothpaste fault just didn't work out as hoped.

This toothpaste is a pretty good option for those who do not like the taste of mint.

Finding a toothpaste that is both palatable and reasonably healthy is really hard. I am also pregnant and suffering terrible morning sickness which makes it harder to find something I can stand. This toothpaste has been great! It has great not overly minty flavor, leaves my mouth feeling clean and doesn't make me feel sick. My two year old and husband also like it.

I have been using this product for a long time. I had been looking for a natural toothpaste for quite awhile and tried several but this is the one I like. It has a nice texture and good flavor. Anyone who is concerned about the chemicals in traditional toothpaste should give this product a try. Shipping is always fast and the product is packaged well for shipping.

I haven't had to much experience with natural toothpastes. So I can only comment on this one. The toothpaste is OK. Doesn't taste bad. Not a big tube.
