Some of the reviews mention sharp edges and thin metal. They are not wrong but the issues are not big ones. A minute with sandpaper or a file can make those sharp edges disappear. And when installed you'd probably never notice them anyway. The metal is .0345" (.88mm) thick. The one that came with my lockset was .0675" (1.71mm) thick. You certainly can tell when the two are side by side. Again though, when installed, you probably wouldn't even think about it. So, they may not be the highest quality and are probably overpriced, but they work fine and look fine.

This strike plate was the perfect fit for my application. No more sings on the door trim. I just need to fill in a little where I cut out too much before. The strike plate is solid, nice finish, fits as it should. Good hardware too. Make sure to bend the tab to fit your needs so the door closes snugly and the deadbolt lines up well. Easy install, just like a regular door strike. Can’t complain. Recommend.

Quality product, fit perfect

This worked for my problem that the carpenter didn’t space the trim properly. However the metal is a bit thinner than my original. So they bend easily. Be careful not to over tighten. Plus they are square in the back not rounded like the original. So it took some cutting to get them to fit right.

Not much to say about a strike plate, but needed something to extend out further than the original, as the latch bolt was hitting an outside door trim and marking it up. This was the 2.25 x 2.25 and was the perfect size, just getting out in front of the trim perfectly enough to hit the plate and not the wood. Color was a perfect match to existing set, easy to install. Will probably order another for another door I noticed having the same issue.

When a new door went on the hall closet, the trim prevented the door lock from rubbing the wood. So, we simply purchased this with put some metal by the trim to allow the door to open and close perfectly - no rubbing at all!

I was looking for a strike plate with a larger lip and this one worked perfectly for my door.

I really needed it as my casing is too close to my door frame and it fits and is doing what I need it to do but I feel the cost was really high.

The quality is relatively low vs price

Paint quality is meh but will do the job for something that I could not find locally.
