Fun yarn for crochet projects
I've been crocheting for 30-some years. This is a great yarn to learn crochet. It's a knit tube vs 2 or 4 ply strands, so it's very easy to see where to put your hook to complete a stitch. Yarn like this lends itself well to amigurumi and things needing structure like baskets or purses. I made up a test swatch with HDC so you can see how the color changes lay. The color lengths seem regular enough that you could probably get this to pool in an argyle pattern as well. Didn't run into any knots in the one skein I used for the swatch, so that's cool.

I really don't know what I'm doing
This says "crochet yard for beginners" and I am certainly a beginner. I want something to keep my hands busy while I'm watching TV so I don't reach for my phone too often, and I hoped that crochet would fit the bill. I literally watched YouTube videos to figure out how to do anything, and this is my first experience with picking up the hook.Unlike most yarn I've seen in stores, this is made of a fabric material, not a woven material, which I think goes a long way towards making this beginner friendly. I also like that it's fairly thin, and comes in smaller quantities, so it's not for massive projects. Unraveling, which was required a few times for me, was quite a simple tug on the yarn.So far, I have made what should be squares, but are closer to football shapes. But I do think this is a good starting point, and I look forward to improving soon.

Cute colors
I am not a total beginner, but it is often a bit cheaper to get your hands on a thick, tubular, smooth kitchen yarn by grabbing a nice “beginner yarn” kit. The yarn I was thinking of is this. Think old fashioned potholder loom potholders - heavy, stretchy round & smooth tube yarn construction. Sturdy and rugged for being tossed around kitchen, spilled on, set on fire, abducted and chewed mercilessly, by a large dog (see “spilled on” above). And that’s usually what it is, sometimes the tubular yarn is slightly smaller in size and sometimes a little softer too. That smaller size “potholder” yarn is great as well - just make the hot pad twice as long as it should be, then double it up and whipstitch or SC the two layers together.Look! Something shiny! Sorry, I wandered afield of this particular ball of yarn. I think I have old-lady-ADD. This is a yarn in lovely, soft but with the right saturation of color. Not at all washed out looking shades, as many lighter or pastel colors can be. That all being said, the mess up here was my fault. I looked at cover pic of ball, and it looked just like what I +thought* it was but apparently I am an idiot 🤨 Just did a quick flip and looked at one or two then decided to get it. Listen up, boys and girls! Look at ALL the pics. Don’t skim, really look. Had I been less of an idjit, I would have done just that and seen before I got far into them, that this is a *FLAT* tape yarn. Just like it sounds, a flat length of the fiber of choice; literally like narrow tape. This is great for a zillion things I am sure, but heavy, thermal protection items, kitchen rugs - things that get hard usage? IMO my thought is “Nah”. I have a personal aversion to any flat tape yarn tho so keep that in mind lol. I tried one out quite awhile back and HATED how it crocheted up. Again, your mileage may very and you may think this is the best yarn on earth, if so, have at it ladies and gents! My aversion is your gain (jk). It’s just a me-thing. If you are unsure about tape yarn, and want to try before dropping a chunk of change on any variety of yarn you are new to, get smallest amount. One ball, hank or skein, just to try before you buy enough for a big project, is good to try first. Beautiful yarn, just not my cup of tea.

New style of sweatshirt/tee woven yarn that doesn't break easy 3-A5 bright rainbow colors
This style of yarn is fairly new it reminds me of woven sweatshirt or tee shirt material, this does not break easily, and it would take much force to make it snap in half. The yarn is bright and rainbow 3-A5 vibrant and will make beautiful fun toys, trivets, washcloths, toys, blankets, and more. The yarn can be used for making finger crochet necklaces and bracelets, ribbons around gifts, hanging up ornaments, spare shoelaces, hair yarn to tie into bows around ponytails, and so many other uses.Sturdy yarn, thick, solid, multipurpose use, 3 pack is worth about three dollars and thirty-three cents per skein which is a fair price. Small bundles for small projects, order several sets if you need a lot (you'll need to do the math on how many skeins you need for project suggestions and then order one more extra set just in case) best to buy together to hopefully get all the same batch in the same dye lot. One may say these are like dollar store bundle size, but honestly, yarn is not cheap no matter what you get, and if you buy cheap dollar store yarn you get what you pay for and quality isn't always on your side there. Dollar store value has its purpose though, for like training kids with yarn that can be wasted before they move on to the good stuff.Worth picking up for all levels of knitting or crocheting, or to use for other purposes like string.

Not a huge fan of the texture
It's very polyester-y textured, as opposed to the soft cotton I was hoping for. Definitely still works as intended, though!

Highly Recommend!
Unlike most yarn I've seen in stores, this one is made of fabric rather than woven material, so it's bright and strong with a smooth, old t-shirt feel. It's also fairly thin and in smaller quantities, so it's not for massive projects. Unraveling, which I had to do a few times, was quite a simple tug on the yarn.

Easy to work with
The T-shirt yarn is really interesting. It has a soft cotton interior, with a mesh like nylon exterior. It has a great stretch and is able to be washed making it great for household items, washcloths, and market bags.

nice colors
Overall I really like this yarn. It's a single tube like yarn that is great for beginners. It is easy to work with, doesn't split and the stitches are easy to see. I love the color combinations that are offered. They are different from other brands I have seen. My only complaint is the price for one skein seems overpriced for the size. If you purchase the 3 pack, that is a better price though. So I would suggest buying the 3 pack.
