Essential and low priced
I have a number of camping lanterns in the same or very similar style. This one is different because of the multicolored LEDs. It's a little bit taller than my other stalk light. I prefer this design to the four cloverleaf light models. A big advantage is the cost is about $20 less for the same battery capacity and there is currently a significant discount coupon from amazon.

Where has this been all my life?!
I’m not gonna lie…this camping lantern by Yoobao looks like a droid from Star Wars. That alone is worth something! Okay, I’ll stop nerding out. This lantern has lots of great features packed into one, very compact unit. Here’s what I found:*Light – The light on top of the unit can extend 28.5” high (total of 39.5” from the bottom) or anywhere in-between. It has five light modes: bright white, amber, soft white, mood (dims in and out through various RGB colors), and emergency (flashes SOS in red). You can tilt the light up to 180-degrees, so that it’s not shining directly at you. You can also dim or brighten the lights.*Bluetooth Speaker – The speaker is not the highest quality (lacks a little bass), but when camping, it’s still very good. I like that it’s unidirectional in that the sound comes out of all four sides of the unit. I put the volume up to its loudest, and it was loud for the size of the speaker.*Device Charger – On one of the sides, there are USB-A and USB-C charging ports with a rubber cover. You can charge your phone with these.*Control Buttons – There are four control buttons that allow you to adjust the light modes, connect to Bluetooth, and raise/lower the volume (the plus/minus buttons also double for changing tracks forward/backwards). There’s also a five-dot LED charge indicator with fifth dot acting as a Bluetooth indicator.*Base – The four, little 3.5” legs extend, or you can keep them in for a more cylindrical look. The central part of the base is magnetic. I extended the light to the full 28.5” and it held to the side of my refrigerator at a 90-degree angle, but it was precarious. However, when I un-extended the light, the magnet held really tight. If you mounted this on your vehicle, so that the unit was right-side-up, it would definitely “stick” and firmly stay there. The magnet base also has a screw hole for a tripod mount. The feet each have a little, 1” reflector on the top and rubber grip pads on the bottom. You also get four 6” stakes to fix the unit to the ground.Let’s just say that this lantern by Yoobao is packed with features and would make a great gift for yourself or someone you love. Hey, who wouldn’t like a compact lantern that does a bunch of practical things and—when extended—looks like a droid from Star Wars!

Not Too Bad
I own a number of similar lights, and this one stacks up pretty well. A benefit to this model is that it extends MUCH higher than the others, so it can cover a larger area. However, the light itself is no stronger than in the other models, so although you get more coverage, the light is appreciably dimmer I find. The battery lasts a pretty long time, I got two whole days out of it, running it on the lowest setting. The major flaw I have found with this one is that the extending neck is really, REALLY stiff! It is very difficult to get it to deploy to full height, and once these, equally difficult to get it pushed back together for storage. In fact, mine is stuck with an inch or so protruding, so it no longer fits in the box. This is frustrating, since the box is the perfect storage container for this light. Not bad, but it needs work.

Decent camp light but not a fan of the top ring lighting up
The top ring lighting up killed the ambiance mode for me. It was just overpowering the lower section. It worked well and was easy to use but I didn't like the top ring.

Decent 4-Sided Speaker and Telescopic Lantern Light
There are 2 different models of this telescoping light and they each have unique qualities. I go back and forth between them (the Z1 and the Z2), but if I had to choose, I'd go with this one (Z1 model). Mainly because I prefer the simplicity of just having one light, and of course the Bluetooth speaker. It's not perfect, but totally worth getting if you don't have one of these. The telescoping light feature is great for shaping the light whether you have this on the ground, on a table, on a tripod, or magnetically placed. You can then twist the light to the direction you want it, after getting the height set. It has all the same colors as the other model (warm, cold and neutral (pinkish)) so only difference here is having one source or 4 blades. As mentioned earlier, I prefer the simplicity of having one.The Bluetooth speaker isn't the best quality, but it is totally fine. It's 4-sided with stereo, so if you can't hear the left or the right equally try rotating it slightly. The +/- buttons operate the volume (holding down) and skip/rewind tracks (single press). I have noticed on Spotify if you try to rewind to the start of a track (- button) then it works, but if you try to skip one track back it will go to the beginning of your playlist. If you skip forward (+ button) then it goes 1 track forward from where you were before it jumped all the way to the beginning. Something to keep in mind, though most of us will just use our device we are playing the music through to control things, so no biggy.Overall, I really like this telescoping Bluetooth lantern and recommend it. Being IPX5 waterproof it's pretty awesome that you could leave this out in the rain and not have to worry about it getting damaged. I haven't tried this yet, but if I were caught in a downpour, it's nice knowing I can go after other things first.
