Exceptional USB touchpad for any system
I got this touchpad because the one that I have in one of my laptops isn't very good. Even though that machine is not a Mac and was a Linux box, I have had exceptionally good experiences with all ProtoArc products, and so I was anxious to give this product a try; it did not disappoint! Although I have no doubt it'd work with any suitable computer or tablet supporting USB and touch. This is a high-quality product with a generous and sensitive touch surface measuring 6-3/8 x 4-3/3 x 1/4 inches. It has small rubber feet so it doesn't slide around on a desk or table, and the bottom of the keypad includes two large left and right mouse button areas. It has an very smooth surface that is pleasant to use. It is very sensitive and supports multi-touch use. The supplied USB cable was perfect for what I needed. The product required no set-up, batteries, or charging and "just worked" the second I plugged it in.I found this product very comfortable and easy to use, and it has very high build quality, so I expect to get many years of service from it. Its large surface allowed detailed work without running off the edge of having to re-touch multiple times. I also appreciated the provided mouse buttons on the bottom of the track pad.Highly recommended !

Simply does not work
This is my second attempt at a replacement trackpad for my iMac. First one didn’t work at all and this one did work somewhat but the gestures were all off and became not feasible to actually do any work. I then brought it to work to connect to my work pc and there was a driver error and it was completely unusable. I would have returned it, but I’ve already discarded the packaging. So now I’m just out $50. And on top of that I had to go ahead and purchase the Apple certified trackpad to replace it so I’m actually out of pocket $250 at the end of the day. Very disappointing

Mouse alternative that works well.
I got this to use with a M2 Mac Studio desktop computer. I've wanted to try out a touchpad as an occasional mouse alternative for some time now and took the opportunity when I saw this product was available. I don't know why anyone would want this for a Mac that already has a built in touchpad or for phones and iPads. At first I plugged it into a front port on the Mac, and then into a powered USB 3 hub and was unable to get it to work. Finally I tried one of the Mac's rear USB C ports and had success. I guess the other ports could not provide enough power. Once the computer recognized the device, the trackpad settings appeared in the System Settings menu where I was able to configure different options. Most of the finger gestures worked although I've been unable to move things on the desktop with a 3 finger drag. One reviewer said you need to click the buttons to make a right click but that is not the case. A one finger tap will make a left click and a 2 finger tap makes a right click without having to press the touchpad button. The touchpad size feels good and the surface very smooth and I like that the attached cable has both USB C and A size connectors as well as having a good 3 ft. length. I prefer the wired connection over a bluetooth one that would require charging or batteries. It is a nice addition to my desktop computer setup.

Beautiful
This is a great trackpad. It looks fantastic and is a treat to use. It does technically work on Windows, but it can be hit or miss.

Unreliable
Most functions are as expected. Drag function set to three finger and worked until it no longer did. Gave up and reverted to mouse. Thought would be a good value when compared to apple product. Disappointed.

Not Compatible with Mac Computers
This product does not work with Mac computers. It can move the cursor but that's about it. None of the gestures work. Clicking with your fingers does not work. To click you have to exert a lot of force on the left or right sides of the touchpad with your other hand and it is not something you would want to have to do very often. This is a terrible product and should be removed from the Amazon store since it does not work as described.

Nice trackpad but I can't click!?
Sadly, very disappointed with this trackpad. I was super psyched to get it as I have been having major wrist issues and really need to get away from using a mouse. I thought this was the perfect solution as I love using my trackpad but when using it with a dual monitor setup and keyboard, it's just not accessible to me.This trackpad looks beautiful, is large, and connected super easy - just plugged it into my MacBook Air and it was working. Many of the trackpad features work wonderfully, such as zoom, scrolling - even switching between apps. What it won't do for me though is a tap or a click - which pretty much makes it useless to me. Tapping with one finger gives me no response and if I try to click, I usually get nothing as well. I have to click 5, 6, 7 times and HARD before it actually does anything which is already extremely frustrating not 5 minutes out of the box. There is also no way to adjust anything. Scroll speed, the touchpad, nothing - nothing can be adjusted in your settings, so sadly Im just not sure how else to make this work for me. Other seems to be thrilled with it by their reviews, which is sad as Im having the exact opposite experience and really just wish it would work for me!? Super bummed...

Great trackpad
I go this trackpad to help me do some design work on my desktop and it has been great. I am able to zoom and pan in an easier and more intuitive way. It was plug and play and I have not had any issues with it. I am very happy with it
