It's not GI issue but definitely works well for my purpose

competant and functional
This has been an easy plug-and-play item on my M1919. It has been problem-free on trips to the range and absolutely compatible with the Aim Sports Tripod and Pintle mount. I only wish that it came with a user's guide/operating instruction manual.

It's ok, but Made in China
Chinese knock off, low quality. Poor tolerances on the elevation and traverse screws, really loose. Looks good from a distance though.
