BOSCH BC1258 QuietCast Premium Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Set - Front

UPDATE: After a few weeks the squeal continued to get worse. I decided to dive in and really try to figure out what was going on. I took everything apart again, recleaned and lubed all components that needed it and put it back together. It seemed to work and the squeal is no more. I will admit that it was probably installation error on my part. Overall the brakes have been working well and lesson learned on my end. I have updated to 5 stars from 3 stars. Original post: I bought and installed these brake pads about a month ago. When I first got them installed I figured the squeak when braking in reverse would eventually go away. Since that time, they have not gotten any quieter. They were easy to install, all components were present, and they work when braking going forward, but when backing out of the garage or parking stall it is so annoying to hear the squeal from the brake pads. The old set and any set previously installed did not have this issue. I hope these pads "brake in" and stop squealing eventually. Otherwise, I may just have to replace with a new set.

Fitment was perfect, dust was minimal, I think these are better than OEM. Would do it again, if the price is right

No more squeaking. Only think I dont like is there is no indicator that makes pads squeak when it is time to change them

Nothing quite about this pads! The screeching sound is crazy... I had to buy another pads to stop the screeching sound!! Don't waste your money on this pads

Great product. Much better than what I expected. Came each individual brake pad separately wrapped. Grease included. Sooo quiet and stops very well. I was really impressed.

Paket mit Bremsbeläge sind un komplett, da waren nur 3 Bremsbeläge statt 4 gekommen. Ich habe so lange mir passenden Ceramic Bremsbeläge gesucht und noch gewartet auf dieser Sendung... Wann ich endlich Paket bekommen hatte, war sehr Enttäuscht uber fehlenden Teil des Sendung...

Estas balatas le quedaron perfecta a mi Mazda cx9 2016 Turbo AWD. Se instalan en el eje frontal (delanteras). Gran marca, gran calidad. Una vez instaladas espera 2 o 3 días a que se asientan y luego ya estás frenando como las originales (o mejor). Vinieron desde USA pero se compraron en AMAZON México, con PRIME llegan en 6 a 9 días, siempre puntuales. Excelente servicio de Amazon.

Las compre en junio del 2024 y ahora en diciembre del 2025, es decir en un año y medio, hice limpieza de frenos por rechinido de reversa, a las balatas se les despego la placa metalica y se las volvi a poner a presion pero fue el pegamento el que falló, después al insertar en los herrajes, las balatas entran flojas en los herrajes, ya no las sostienen. El sintoma del auto es que en calles cacarisas (imperfecciones leves pero muchas) cuando el auto vibra mucho, suena un golpeteo metalico, entonces repito el mismo camino cacariso pero ahora aplico levemente el freno y ya no se oye ese golpeteo. Los puros herrajes valen como 50% el precio del kit de frenos. La verdad pense que por ser Bosch durarían pero no. Como son balatas y es mi seguridad debo reemplazarlas, pero ya no bosch, me ire por otra marca.

Rechinan desde nuevas, con apenas unas semanas, comenzaron a rechinar, leve al principio, 6 meses después las tuve que cambiar. No sé si salieron defectuosas para mi pedido en particular, pero se cristalizan muy rápido

Entrega expedita y todo llegó en orden, después de la instalación todo parece estar bien, son silenciosas y frenan excelente. Apenas las monté y sólo el tiempo dirá si duran por lo menos los 18 mil kms que me duran las Akebono.
