Very easy to use but warms up too fast for me. They say only use it about 20 minutes at a time though so it’s probably fine. It does help.

I chose this shoulder cold pack from Comfitech because I have neck and shoulder issues. I wanted something that would stay on when walking around or sitting in a recliner. I chose the large even though I am 5’2 and 150 lbs based on it fitting my husband too ( 6’3” and 220 ) and I am very happy that I did. The way this is designed the Velcro upon arrival was folded then attached. ( see my photo ) This way it fits me. Unfolding and attaching the Velcro “the regular way” it fits my husband. It is also reversible as to which shoulder it fits which I think is a very smart design.The quality of the cold pack is beyond my expectations. It was 105 degrees when it was delivered. I took it out of the box and tried it on…it was gel filled and it still felt somewhat cold! After being in the freezer, it offers a deep and lasting cold effect. I am very pleased with the design, the construction, and the materials of this compression sleeve and think it will last for years with good care. As I write “compression sleeve” I pause, for the sake of comparison. It could be tightened for compression but isn’t like a girdle or a sleeve made to firmly hold everything like after liposuction…but I wouldn’t want that from this unit. It feels good and fits comfortably without adding pressure yet has some weight to the cooling area which is most of the sleeve. Any Negatives? Only one I can think of searching my brain…it didn’t come with a storage bag. But so many things do and then I can’t tell one from another…so if they make one, rather than the brand name on the outside, it needs to say shoulder cold therapy or anything shoulder. This is easy to put on yourself, which makes all the difference. It fits well and like it should to gets the cold to the right spot which is the rotator cuff. Overall if works.

This is great for anyone who has a shoulder injury or had a previous surgery. The wrap offers great compression, and it's easy to put on. It's adjustable so that you can get a precise fit, too. The Velcro is strong and secure, so there's no worry about the wrap coming unfastened.One thing I like is that the gel is cold even without being chilled. I'm not really a fan of using an ice pack because it's just too cold for my liking, so I was impressed with how cold it felt when I unpacked it. It provided a nice, soothing form of relief. The instructions said that it could be chilled in the refrigerator for a less intense cold therapy than freezing, so that's probably how I'll use it.The wrap is pretty easy to clean; it's just a matter of wiping it down with a damp cloth as needed. It is not designed to be washed in the sink or in the washing machine. It seems to be a well designed item, and I think it's going to provide a lot of relief.

The brace gives good support, but the heat/cold pack loses temperature too quickly. Also, the arm cuff can be a little to for slightly larger biceps.

I love this! I truly do. Like so many people, I have neck issues that cause shoulder issues—it’s such a pain, literally and figuratively. :)Straight out of the box, it felt cool, even though it was sitting on my porch in the hot sun. I have a size medium, which I ordered knowing it might be a bit big, and it is, but it is still very effective; it just doesn’t get as tight as it should around my bicep. If I wanted, I could easily wrap it tighter with a strap or piece of cloth.Working at my desk all day causes my shoulder to act up, so I’m glad I had this in the freezer ready to use. It feels so good—it’s soothing and takes the edge off. It’s not indicated in the listing (at least at the time of order), but you can also warm it up. Bonus!

I have used three other Comfitech cold therapy products, and I have really enjoyed how well they work, along with how nicely they are made. This particular shoulder ice pack wrap is no exception. The design and craftsmanship are both very impressive to me. The gel material is comfortable to wear, even right up against the skin. When I take this out of the freezer, it’s not rock solid, but rather very flexible and easy to put on pretty much right away. The strap that secures across the upper torso seems to keep the wrap nicely in place, and it’s also fairly comfortable to wear. There is certainly the option to wear a light shirt under this for added comfort, if you desire.Based on the size guide in the listing information, I ordered a medium. It fits, but it’s a bit snug in some areas. I probably could have gone with a large, but I was hoping for a bit of added compression, too, so I’m not really disappointed. I’ve been trying this out in the evenings on my right shoulder, but I appreciate that this wrap can be used on both the left and right shoulders, should the need arise. I’m happy with how long it stays cold, and how easy it is to use.

Giving the product 2 stars because it is truly easy to use and very comfortable. However, the product lacks effectiveness as it doesn't hold the cold for more than 5 minutes. I have tried leaving it in the freezer for over 24 hours and even though it feels cold to the touch and even once it is on the shoulder, the coldness dissipates pretty quickly. A cheaper cold compress purchased at the supermarket holds the cold easily for 30 minutes.
