I love the bright and concentrated beam for the distance but there is still plenty of flood for closer surroundings. The light head does get really hot on the high setting. Not sure if that is normal or not. Pocket carry is great. Don’t even notice it’s there. Good job Nitecore!

Very simple, and powerful light. Throw distance is nowhere close to 500 plus meters but it does produce a powerful beam that can reach a very respectable distance. Not sure how i feel about the tail switch being completely covered from the sides. The switch is just a bit stiff and with the sides being covered, it takes a little practice to get the light to turn on comfortably. A tactical grip is possible , and the guard on the side kind of helps with the momentary operation. A two stage switch like the Wuben T4 would have made this light way better. The battery needs to be removed in order to charge it. Switching the power output is a bit annoying. It is marketed as just an edc so don’t expect to get very tactical with it. I have been caring it every day since I received it. Nice little light to add to my collection of high tech flashlights.
