I've been married for 15 years and it's nice to have a set like this. It's a little dorky too, but the mere physical presence of it encourages prioritization, so we're both happy with it.The scratch off cards have a nice variety and I like how they have the basic activity type displayed while still preserving the element of surprise. The disclaimer card had me laughing and the mystery card is sure to get scratched off quickly. I took a photo of a few of them with the ideas revealed - they were randomly selected. I do wish they had a few extra cards you can fill in on your own, but it's easy enough to make them with some cardstock. We plan to re-use them. Some of the prompts are appropriate and fun for including children, if that's what you need to do - they're just fun activities. Some are labelled as requiring a babysitter.The scrap book is such a sweet idea. I used to take photos of flowers or plants my husband got for me when we were dating (and early in our marriage) and this morphed into photos of items that he fixed and other forms of appreciation. He kept cards and ticket stubs and various notes. We rarely took photos of each other and I wish we had. At least one of the cards prompts this.The dice are fun, though I'm not into using sex-positions dice. I know some people are delighted by that sort of thing, but it kind of kills it for me. The coin for deciding who's turn it is to make the food decisions is good if there's any issue there. I'm tempted to use it for other non-consequential decisions too! The dice for food types, movie types, and date types are great. I've altered the food dice though with tape. Instead of Mexican, Chinese, Italian, and Seafood, I replaced them with European, Asian, African, and Themed (sorry Australia!). We like a wider variety and are lucky to have some amazing restaurants and grocery stores not too far away. Plus we enjoy making meals inspired by movies and games.The candles seem to be of good quality. The vanilla is sweet and yummy, and the lavender has more of a musky smell. Overall, the set is high quality and can become a celebration of time enjoyed with one another.

My wife and I have been big fans of the Disney Movie "Up" since we first saw it together. I even had an Adventure Book box made to hold her engagement ring. So when I saw this, I jumped at it right away as the theming for us is just perfect.We have done other scratch-off adventure dates in the past and have had fun with them. While I would say these scratch-offs are on par with those, the packaging is amazing.My wife and I love the details, from the engraving on the box to the adventure book for keeping track of the fun things we did. The candles are a nice touch and a good coin to scratch the cards off. Finally, the dice can be entertaining at times, too, when you either can't decide or just want to let luck choose for you for the different events of the evening.We would recommend this box to anyone, but if you are a fan of the movie Up, then you really shouldn't hold back and need this.

Every part of this was put together with care. The box that holds everything is very high quality. The dice are a little tongue in cheek, but everything else has been fun for making memories.

This is a really nice gift set. It came with everything shown and it all seems like decent quality. The box is beautiful and a nice way to keep everything together. I’m just struggling to understand the price point. I could purchase all of these items (or some similar) separately and some other wooden box and save quite a bit of money. I know there is something to be said for a ready made convenient gift, but the cost bugs me a bit. Regardless, this has been fun for my husband and I. It reminds us to get out and do special things together all while documenting it. I guess the choice is yours…pay for convenience or DIY your own set and save some cash! If you choose this one, you won’t be unhappy with any of the items, it’s well made and a well thought out gift.
