Beautiful art.

This book is simply, and beautifully illustrated. I bought this for my 1-yr old nephew, he LOVES it, and my older kids love to read it to him. I wish I had discovered Jorey's books when my kids were younger.

This is a beautiful, sweet book that would be a perfect addition to the collection of any young child! The simple message encourages interaction and the illustrations are vibrant and engaging. I buy and read a ton of books for children, and this one is a real gem. Love!

This book is amazing. It's beautifully designed and it's surely a hit with our 18month old! Perfect to read to him and even better to have big sister reading to little brother. Absolutely fantastic!

Art, science and poetry all in one gorgeous package!

I just ordered this book after taking it out from the library and sharing it in class for a week. The young student I work with is very much into TV characters and shows, but was captivated by this book. There are very few words, but so much to talk about--life cycles--seasons. I will be looking into the author's other books.

We got six books at the library and my 26 month old grandson requests this one most often. He is very engaged when we read it. He has learned new words, snowy egret and tadpole, and we talk about the seasons changing above the pond. It is beautiful and manages to capture so much story in spite of its deliberately limited text.
