Q: Is it possible to purchase only the base without the wooden top?

I don’t think so. It’s glued together

Q: are the feet adjustable?

The table height is not adjustable. There are floor levelers to help prevent wobbling on uneven floors.

Q: How strong is the base? I have a quite heavy piece that I’d like to place on top, but it needs a very strong base. Concerned about the tubular metal.

I'm not sure how strong it is. I have a 25 lb speaker on it, no issues with that. It also has adjustable feet, so it can be leveled.
