Equity by La Crosse 14073 Clear Analog Wind-Up Alarm Clock

The clock looks neat but it sticks and won’t tell proper time. It’s for my three year old who loves clocks and doesn’t care.

Due to lukewarm reviews, I had low x-peks. Wound clock, worked fine.Very low ticking sound,keeps good time. Very pleased.

While it works, after a fashion, every time one sets the time, there is so much slop in the nylon gear train that you must set the time 3 minutes ahead so the gears can catch up. The alarm turns itself on every time the spring is wound, which is good because the on/off button is really only for silencing the alarm; the button comes off its spindle into your hand if you try to pull it into the "on" position manually. For less than $20, it's OK, just barely.

Followed instructions to set time but the winding mechanism does not work. Very disappointed. We hoped this would be our backup clock during a power outage.

It is disappointing

This one was a tough one to regulate but managed after a couple of weeks. It ran unacceptably slow, and had to withhold using it until I tinkered with it to a point where I became adjusted to near accuracy.It does what it does it alarms on time. Nothing special, just very tough to regulate.

Something to be said for a device that needs no batteries.Definitely EMP proof.As a kid I always wanted to take one of these apart to see how it worked.This was a great learning tool as well.Great price.Got one as a gift for my dad for his birthday too!
