Beware it’s quite thin
I somehow expected it to be thicker but it’s very thin. So it’s hard to pick up and off the counter especially of the counter is a bit wet.

Stains easily
Even the water drops on it leaves a stain straight away… dunno if this is the best quality or not

Is it titanium or steel?
Price when reviewed: £ 16.99.The description of this product is confusing. It’s described as both solid titanium and stainless steel and it cannot be both. The board has “SUS 304” stamped on it suggesting it is in fact 304 stainless steel. In use the board is what you’d expect it to be. Easy to clean, especially if you have a dishwasher, otherwise, a quick rinse under the tap between preparing different food groups. It may dull the sharp edge of knife blades, but that’s not such a problem for me as I have a good quality sharpener. This cutting board has a hygienic surface that is easy to clean, and I am happy with it.

Cuts all over
This seems smart until you realise it is a stainless steel material, not the very expensive titanium. As such, it cuts a lot, it is a softer metal than titanium. The amount of cuts caused by using metal knives on here is, well it does make this thing seem very cheap, and makes it extremely ugly very quickly. It also makes , well a metal on metal sound that is very annoying when using it.There is a reason chefs don't use chopping boards like this. The amount of knife sharpening you would have to do using this for anything serious would offset any benefits.Avoid.

Not convinced
My main chopping board for veg (plastic) is past the time when it should be replaced so I saw this and thought it worth a try.I've never used, or seen, a metal chopping board before, but I am aware of stainless steels alleged hygiene properties, in that stainless steel fittings seem to be a requirement in many commercial kitchens, so I was interested in seeing how well it worked for me.It arrived a few days ago and I've used it several times since.I must admit that my initial impression was not good, I disliked it, primarily I think because it was so thin.Upon use I have found it marks quite easily, cuts - the listing even brags that it is softer than the steel used for knives, as if that was a good thing. It is, in my opinion, not, as it means cuts appear in it, and cuts are little grooves, that are capable of trapping biological matter, or at least the things that feed on biological matter.Making it no more hygienic than any other cutting board, in my opinion.I guess this accounts for the big wooden cutting boards seen in stainless steel kitchens on cookery programs.Stainless steel may be ideal for work surfaces, kitchen utensils, kitchen fittings, etc. but it appears not so ideal for cutting surfaces. All in my opinion, as I'm not a chef (LOL), but it negatively colours my impressions of the desirability of using this product.

Compact
This is an ultra thin metal chopping board, it’s described as both titanium and stainless steel in the title but I think it’s food grade stainless steel based on general description. The dimensions are fine for general use, it’s easy to cut on, knife leaves very faint marks but not scratches and it’s easy enough to wash it up in sink and leave to air dry. It needs virtually no storage space but feels fairly sturdy.
