Very effective and easy to use
Works perfectly - can see a number of people have tried using this in an above ground smaller pool - clearly it’s not suitable for that size having read the reviews.I have an in ground pool with a sand filter, and I can leave this in the pool over the summer (I take it out and leave in a bucket of water before we use the pool) and have no issues with algae, cloudy water etc. even when heating the water - a great alternative to tabs in the filter basket or continuously testing and adding liquid/powdered chlorine

Fab product
We love these. We use it in a 12ft pool on the smallest opening and usually last about 6-8 weeks without having to mess about doing chemicals on a daily/weekly basis, keeps the water sanitized and completely clear with the filters on 8 hours a day and the electric skimmer. We do check the levels once a week with sticks but having used these last year they are fab and had pools for about 10 years would not go back to using individual chemicals.

We have used this product for years now, it does what it says it keeps our pool lovely and clean without us having to do anything. Had used other products in the past that had to be applied weekly but this is easier and does the job better

Avoid!!
Absolutely dreadful! Used in my pool & it clogged up the pump filter with gunk! & turned the pool cloudy. Not sure what this contains but I wouldn’t use it again!

Awful
Put it in our 14 ft pool opened it to the smallest hole, left it in the pool over night and our pool was left with white sedement which caused the water to turn cloudy, previously I was using a diffrent brand and this didn't happen Im highly disappointed as now our pool is unusable due to excessive amounts of chlorine

Impressive!
I used this for the pool in my holiday home. Had to leave it unattended in France for 3 sweltering summer months, and returned to find the water still clear. I had expected pea soup, but this little gadget seems to have done the trick.
