GF Pasta Truffle
So this is all around a really good product, Jovial never disappoints with its GF options. The pasta is made from brown rice and is very easy to cook. Doesn't turn to mush even if you cook a little longer than recommended. It's definitely a mac and cheese product, however my only complaint is that I can't detect any truffle flavor whatsoever. Just overwhelming salt and cheese, but it's still good.

Amazing!
The best! Can’t wait for my next box! I’m new to having celiac and was expecting everything to taste like cardboard. This is better than regular Mac and cheese!

Powdery tasting
The pasta had a strange crumbly texture and did not taste like a traditional macaroni mouthfeel. The sauce was strong in truffle flavor but did not have a great texture either. The texture was not smooth at all even though I have mixed really well. It was a very chalky, powdery sauce that was not pleasant at all. I do believe that it is because this mac and cheese is targeted for those with gluten-free diets, therefore compromises were made.Overall, since I do not have any dietary restrictions, this truffle macaroni and cheese is not for me and I would have a better experience with a non-gluten free version.

Great pasta, truffle, add more cheese
The cheese in this is pretty light. Obviously the main flavor is truffle and it's fairly strong which I like. This mac cheese I can eat straight out of the box by the directions and enjoy. I would however add more cheese. The sauce isn't the strongest and I taste more of the pasta itself and truffle than a slight amount of cheese. I added milk with this like your normal boxed mac and cheese and was as creamy and soft as I like. With all boxes mac cheeses, I would add your own touch, pepper and salt, some more cheese, but to get a base truffle mac cheese, I can see myself getting more of these than my regular frozen one I get.

Impressed - with one caviat
For someone forced to be gluten free due to allergies, this pasta is VERY impressive. Tastes, feels, everything - like the real thing. It says on the box that it is award winning rice pasta and I can see why. They did a phenomenal job.The cheese flavoring is not quite as luxe tasting as you’d imagine based on the photo but it is good, though on the salty side for me. Other reviews say it’s bland but it wasn’t for me.So what’s my caviat? This pasta is much better than other rice pastas I’ve eaten. Starchy and everything. The odd thing is, while those don’t give me that “so full my stomach just grew two inches” feeling that regular pasta does - this pasta does. And that was disappointing. But if you’re getting this purely for allergy reasons I think it’s a great buy, worth trying.

Toss the sauce packet use the pasta for something else
The pasta in this is OK, a touch grainy as most whole grain pastas are but not too heavily so. The fail here is the packet of seasoning which disappeared into the pasta offering nothing sauce like and little in flavor other than a touch of salty. I ended up adding more butter than directed and some pepper to give it some taste. if you like plain pasta this may be good to you but there are certainly cheaper options to do that.

Bold truffle flavor!
This truffle mac and cheese is definitely interesting, but it’s soo addicting! One box was enough for me, and it was super easy to prepare. The noodles and sauce look, taste, and smell good quality. The truffle is very apparent, and meshes nicely with the cheese flavoring. The texture of the noodles weren’t bad at all for being gluten free! This was a fun take on mac and cheese, but the price deters me a little from repurchasing

No Flavor
I've been on a gluten free diet for over a year now and been on the hunt for mac and cheese- I highly recommend the kraft gluten free if you like the classic mac and cheese taste. But of course I'm curious as to other flavors and decided to try this- I love truffle so thought it'd be a win win, but unfotnautely this mac and cheese was very bland and I had to add more seasoning to give it any flavor- no truffle flavor at all either... For almost $10 a box and no flavor it's pretty disappointing, but the noodles cooked well and have a nice texture. I can't say I recommend...
