Q: is this the original formula musk oil?

The first Musk oil to hit the USA was in the 60's . The little bottle of Musk came in a see threw plastic container and Reads Drug store was the first store in Baltimore to sell it. I really do think the Musk today isn't the original formula because it's much weaker.

Q: Does this smell anything like alyssa ashley's civet oil that was sold many moons ago? i cannot find civet oil. must be a peta issue.

This does not smell anything like the oil I remember from the late 60's, early 70's. This is more like a perfume for women only. I'm male and the scent I used then could be for men or women.

Q: Does the bottle have the roller ball on top?

No, there is no roller ball on top. It has a plastic wick which is attached to the top for application.
