This is a nicely made fun toy in the style of the old arcade crane claw grabber that still remains very popular today. It even sounds like the arcade game and plays a very annoying little tune which will drive the adults nuts but the kids will probably absolutely love!It’s very easy to use; a rotary joy-stick to manually move the crane left & right and an electrically operated crane lift to move the claw up and down. A button to change the music/melody to various degrees or annoying and a start button which, when pressed, activates a 60 second play timer to heighten the tension – and then a whizz sound when the time runs out. A nice touch is the win ‘tada’ when a plushie or capsule falls into the win chute.The plushie’s are cute soft toys in the shape of a cat’s head and you get 10 of those. The capsules are hard plastic and can be opened so that a treat, maybe a chocolate button, can be placed inside – you also get 10 of these, it does come with some small plastic tokens that can be placed in the capsules. You certainly get plenty of each and you wouldn’t want to use all of these at the same time otherwise the chamber would be over full!On the top door, used for filling the machine, is a little rabbit sitting in a control capsule, disappointingly it doesn’t do anything – it would have been nice to see that at least light up with some coloured LED’s!The unit operates on 4 x AA batteries (not supplied) a nice safety feature is that the battery compartment is secured with a small screw – so curious hands won’t be able to take them out easily.This is a nice fun toy that comes nicely boxed so would make a nice gift. It should keep the kids, and probably some of the adults amused for quite a while.

Little kids usually love claw machines, and they could easily play away a small fortune in the arcades, so this tabletop version seemed like a great substitute to scratch that specific itch. The product tries to be entertaining, it plays music at the press of a button, and it offers prize balls that can be filled with sweets or other rewards, beside the mini plushies. But under the cute design, it has pretty simple mechanics and is build with some cheap plastic and threads. It was interesting for my 6 y/o niece for about an hour and then it went straight to the bottom of the pile of toys. Might be more fun as a party game with some friends around, but even so, it does not see a lot of use for the price in our home.

Very impressive for a kids toy.Works like the claw machines in an arcade.There’s a turning notch to move the claw left and right and a notch to switch up and down to move the claw down as well as to open the claw as it goes down to grab the toy and switch up to higher the claw as well as closing the claw to hold the toy as you move it to the square. You have to lower the claw to drop the toy into the square that has sensors to activate the ‘winner’ sound and the toy falls out from the side to either be played with or put back in to the machine from the top. The big centre button is to be pressed to make the machine go back into play mode to start over again.The dome at the top is turned slightly to unlock the top to be able to open it to place the toys in the machine.The toy is simple to work but for small kids can be a good distraction for a while.The music of the machine can be changed by a button and there is also a volume button.The toy works via 4 AA batteries.Good value for money

Great fun for 5 minutes! Broke within a day of use and plastic felt cheap.

Every time we walk past a real claw machine, my 4 year olds want to play it, and every time I tell them you cannot win with this kind of machine and it is a waste of money.So I'm happy we got this mini claw machine. They can get it out of their system and play it whenever they want, they actually win, and even if they don't it's no big deal.My daughters just love this toy, it is great fun to use and they love the little plush toys it comes with.There are still issues, like that massive hole on the side, so basically you just need to shake the claw machine to get the plushies out. But I found it really minor. It's a good fun toy for children, and I'm curious what happens at their next play date.
