Expectations might have been to high.
This has been a learning process as I have always had a fairly short and trim stache. For the past two years I let it grow and after 3 months I had to find a way to control it. My mustache hair type is grey/blonde, very coarse, dense and a bit wavy, I typically only trim the center and the outer edges with scissors.Based on other reviews I had decent expectations that Dubs may work. What I have learned is that no one wax brand works for everybody. I have tried Beardsmen (jelly like, greasy, low hold), Beard Baron (current go to, med hold), Firehouse (not a fan of the smell, med hold)and now Dubs. How I use the product: I warm the wax with a blow dryer. I apply a half thumbnails amt, slight part in the middle and then splay them out to the left and right with a comb and a dryer. The ends are gathered a bit in an English style. Typically all the waxes setup nicely but the stiffness of my hair causes it to separate and droop in within 10 minutes, Dubs was no different. I went back back for a second application still no hold. I find with all these waxes I have to constantly fuss over it all day so it doesn't look sloppy or non symmetrical.LIKE: Very easy to remove from container and apply, no hair dryer really needed. Scent is pleasing but dissipates quickly.DISLIKE: Not enough hold for my hair type. Before I go and trim down to something manageable I have ordered Death Grip Wax and will see how that goes.

I am somewhat disappointed in its ability to hold my stache for more ...
I picked up the Dubs Stache Cream - Firm - hoping it would help shapen my burly wiry son-of-Ireland whiskers. Perhaps I need to train them more but so far, I am somewhat disappointed in its ability to hold my stache for more than thirty minutes. I have not shaved for 3 months and my facial hair grows quite fast.I will continue to try and use the wax to shape and form my 'fly-away' hairs but I cannot get the wax to hold or maintain a firm mustache/handlebar shape.I do absolutely love the smell of the wax. It reminds me a bit of almond smell. My beard is mostly auburn/red/brown colours and is just starting to turn white from age in a few spots and I do not see any colour impact to any of these stands from the wax - some people say it makes their hairs look a different shade and I did not experience that with this wax - it goes on neutral for me.

Didn't work for me
I've had a few different types of mustache wax, and bought this one based on a recommendation. Unfortunately it did nothing for my unruly mustache. The product breaks down very easily, but when put in offered about as much hold for me as a beard balm or oil. Adding more product only served to add white specks to my dark mustache, but didn't increase the hold in any meaningful way. This might work if you have a light colored mustache and it lays nicely on its own.

DUBS Firm moustache wax keeps my wiry Asian handlebars in good form. Only thing I don't like is how it leaves a nasty look after 30 minutes of it drying on my hair, looking like there's a bunch of crumbs. Maybe I'm using too much, but if I use less, it doesn't hold shape for long. I want to use the original to see if it makes a difference, but I doubt it will hold at all. However, I do like how much wax is in the can. It looked like it would be gone after my first month of using it, but now I'm sure it can last me a whole year.

Great Wax! Smell can be somewhat strong
This is a great mustache wax. I really like the hold and how easy it is to apply it being it is a firm hold wax. The lavender scent is nice, however, if you are sensitive to smells you may want to think twice. For me, when I don't have a headache, it is great and I love the scent. However, when I have a slight headache I cannot wear this as it makes it worse. Of course this will not hold true for everyone but for those like me something to keep in mind.

Top Notch Stache Cream! Must Have For Anyone With a Decent Mustache!
Dubs to the rescue! If you have a handlebar mustache look no further. There are a million mustache and beard oil companies out there but most of the products on the market are very poor. Reason I say this is because most mustache wax is hard as a rock and needs to be heated. On top of that if it's hot outside or you get a good sweat going the wax doesn't hold and your handlebar Stache ends up all messed up. This is a top notch product because of it's very pliability and easy to apply. It also has a wonderful firm hold for anyone who does beard and mustache competitions. Aside from Dubs the only other mustache wax I will ever use is Handsome Sasquatch Mustache Putty, which seems to only be available at beard & mustache competitions.

Nice scent pliable hold
Nice scent pliable hold. Had to reapply but I am in 100+ degree weather.

I’ve been using another product that I liked, but it wouldn’t hold the tips very long on my uncooperative handlebars. This does the trick. Good hold. Still using both products in conjunction with each other because I don’t like the mustache itself all that stiff. I also prefer the scent of the former.

Pricy but worth it.
Like any wax for use with handlebars, you need to get the general shape with a blow dryer or heat brush/comb. It's easy to style with this wax. I put it in and tighten the handlebar then come it out of I want the loose look while maintaining shape. Gently form the tips of the handlebar while leaving the rest loose gives me the breadth in looking for. Takes a little while to get it sorted out as with any wax. Turns grey slightly blonde.
