Works as described
My autostop starter was going out and anytime I would try to take off after autostop activated my car would stall. This 12 dollar item saved me thousands of dollars in mechanic costs. It functions exactly as described with no check engine light and autostop does not activate. Installation was super simple and fit perfectly. Good quality saved my wallet!

Stop/start disabled- engine code enabled
The pigtail worked as described, although the service engine light has come on because of the pigtail. Code P257D-Engine hood switch performance is now listed.

A perfect fix to disable the auto start/stop feature on my 2017 Chevy Cruze
Works perfectly, no codes, hood open message still comes on when the hood is open and goes off when closed. Easy to install, no tools required.

Left a check engine light
It works by fooling the car into thinking that the hood is open and by doing so my 2015 Chevy Malibu has a check engine light and my remote start doesn't work

Prevents the auto stop start feature
Worked on my 2019 Traverse to prevent the annoying stop start feature. However, it also prevents the remote start from working which for me is not a big deal.
