Even though it is stated in the description AND in fact in the label itself, I am sad to report - cotton it is NOT. The fabric is most definitely synthetic and super uncomfortable!If that's not an issue for you and you still want them pants: as regards to size, I'm a 14 and their size 14/XL is a bit tight in the waist and not very baggy, so I'd recommend a size up. The length: I'm 5'4" and if worn on the waist they come down to my ankles, Capri style. If worn in the hips they are like normal length pants for me. Pockets are good.Because I get painful skin irritations from wearing synthetic fabrics, the honesty in the garment description is crucial - I would still like to get some real 100% cotton pants if anyone reading this find some, please let me know. Until then, I won't trust buying them here on Amazon again.

I love these trousers so much, I've now bought three pairs, and am considering getting more! Having lived in Asia, I'm used to having to buy enormous-sized clothes (which would be considered normal here in Britain!), so I ordered three sizes larger than I usually take, and they fit perfectly! They wash really well - no shrinkage, and if I hang them up while damp, I don't need to iron them when they're dry! The seams are strong and robust, and the trousers are made from very good fabric too. Length-wise, I am 5'10", and they come a shade below mid-calf on me, which makes them great to wear with long tunics, skirts, and dresses.

Took forever to arrive, probably the longest Amazon order I have ever placed in the last 7 years. When it did finally arrive, it had sort of old wardrobe smell on it, really unpleasant. The fabric is cheap and nasty, and the quality is simply not worth the 20 pounds, even though on the face of it that is not awfully expensive for the money. Here it is simply not worth it. The fit is odd, I am 10-12 UK, here an L is just so on the bottom, waste slightly loose on the front only, the rubber spring inside, twisting, and really loose on the legs. Strange!

Ordered the XL. I read some reviews and found one purchaser who had taken the time to write about size and fit (thank you) this reviewer was the same size 14 as me. I took the advice posted and ordered the XL which has turned out to be perfect! The quality is also a nice surprise and the fit is really quite slimming and very flattering so I am delighted. These are listed as cropped wide fitting and they are most comfortable to wear. I am 5'6" and they cover my calf being about 2-3 inches above the ankle. I am looking at buying again in a different colour . I have washed mine and no shrinkage noted! Highly recommend these.

I order this and have worn it, I also order the blue colour. Pleased with both, however I have washed them and the seam on the leg has come undone and as the seams are very small there is little room for repair. I would not have expected this and was disappointed as the trousers fit, were comfortable and were a good colour. The black has faded considerably. They have been worn/washed about six times, I would not have expected the seam nor the fading. Was going to buy other colours but will not now.

I was very pleased with the fit, (4XXL), as I have become used to "larger" sizes either not being quite large enough, or having overlong leg lengths.These are comfortable to wear , nice fabric. Will buy again if available in black

I was slightly reticent to order these trousers as I was sure that they couldn't be as nice as they appeared on line for the price, but I love them! They fit really nicely and I love the extra wide legs. I'm so pleased that the trousers have pockets too. The fabric seems long lasting, although as I have only just received them and haven't washed them yet I can't confirm that. My only cmment is that they are longer than I had thought they would be from the description. I am just under 5ft 6 and they are more or less full length on me. I am pleased about that, as I wanted full length trousers really, but if you are of average height and want cropped trousers you might have to take these up. I am very pleased with them and have already ordered a second pair in black. Thank you to the seller.

A year ago I bought two of these trousers - dark grey and mustard yellow. I liked them a lot, good quality, good fit on me, loose and easy, wash well. So now I decided to get a third pair in light grey. Such a disappointment. The size and the cut are different from the last year - the leg is narrower and the waist is wider, so there is a lot of spare fabric at the waist and not enough for a loose look on the thigh. The fabric is thinner and even slightly see-through. Don't know if other colours are similarly affected now. Good thing there is an easy return.
