Informative with cut-outs & lift-the-flap opportunities
From the back cover: ๐ณ โThis little book follows the growth of a tiny acorn into a beautiful old oak tree. Peep under leaves and between branches to discover all kinds of creatures that live there.โ The quality board book measures around 16.5 cm x 19.5 cm, with rounded corners and an angled spine area that makes it easier to pick up. It has a cut-out on the thick card front cover that looks like a hollow in the tree trunk. The story runs over 14 colourful pages including the inside covers, set in double spread format, with various cut-outs & durable lift-the-flaps dotted around. Lots of creatures are busy at work as the tree matures and the seasons change, the beautiful illustrations offering much scope for extra discussion and, perhaps, some further research for the older reader/listener. Interesting book for toddler
The story of acorns becoming an oak tree is a simple yet a nice story that even toddlers can relate to every growing trees. Not only that, there are also stories around the tree. On top of that, lift the flap actions are attractive and interesting. Good book for toddlers, when bedtime or any time.
