Bought these for galaxy tablet, as I lost the original one. Among phone, pc, and laptop I rarely use tablet so this bulky charger mainly stays at home. I use it may be once or twice a week.Pro-chages galaxy tablet pretty fast, which for some reason it's hard to find after marki ones. Also occasionally used to charge Note 4, which fills it up super fast, longer cord length for more mobility.Con-durability, bulky like laptop charger, unable to disconnect cord. You can't see from picture, but I can actually see the copper in the red cord.Overall - would not recommend. Although it still work, I need to keep an constant eye on it, as I don't feel safe leaving it unattended due to exposure.

Charges slow.

My step-father is very rough handed when it comes to taking care of most things, this is especially true when it comes to cables for charging his devices. When the charging cable for his Asus T100 broke, we tried to find multiple fixes, but one day it simply stopped turning on. He swore it was broken because the charging lights still lit up, yet it refused to boot, or even show the battery charging graphic. However, having had one before and being familiar with it's "quirks", I suspected that it may have been that it simply wasn't charging properly.(A common problem with a lot of 2-in-1 tablets is that because they use a 'micro usb' cable, we try to charge them using a normal usb cable and brick, not realizing that not all of these cables and plugs are created equally.)This charger doesn't specify that it is compatible with his device, but I figured that the worst case scenario, I could use it to charge my phone super fast. I purchased the 3.5A charger, and it worked FLAWLESSLY. His "broken" tablet charged up in a few hours(much faster than the cable that came with the tablet!), and booted as though nothing had happened. He hasn't had a problem since, and the cable continues to work perfectly after months of usage. (Which is saying something, since he usually goes through a cable every month or so.)My only possible complaint would be that because the plug is a bit larger, it is easy to accidentally knock it out when on a powerstrip on the floor, but that is an entirely user-related problem, and I'd happily accept a somewhat awkward plug in exchange for the fast and efficient charging.

LOVE this charger!! Fast charging, long cord makes it easy to set the tablet on tables or in my lap & not worry about pulling the plug out of the tablet or wall. Have ordered several of these to replace stock chargers for phones & tablets. These work FAR better than the stock chargers, & MUCH nicer due to the extra length of the cords. Don't know what tablet manufacturers think when they give you a 2 foot cord with your tablet- guess they figure you sit on the floor next to the wall outlet!!!The blue light on the plug lets me know that it is doing its job- I don't find that it's extremely bright as some others have said, it gives a nice glow at night but certainly not bright enough to bother anything. If you are light sensitive, a piece of black electrical tape over the light would solve the problem & be easy enough to do.This is a GREAT charger at a reasonable price!

I like this because there are few other options to charge my tablet that didn't keep giving me the flashing battery symbol which equated to "not approved for this device." For the price it is not bad and the device really powers quickly. However, I have replaced 3 of 5 within a year and all of the cables have broken at the same place; at the point where the cable enters the rubber housing before it goes into the PWR+ box. I replaced one a month ago and have to dig into my replacement stash again now since the wires are once again showing.I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and I don't plug/unplug it recurrently, therefore the cable should not wear. Even if I did plug/unplug the device, I do not use "the cable" to do so, meaning, there is no stress on the cable itself which would cause pinch/tortion/stress on the cable itself.

I own a Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablet, and regularly charge it at night on my night table. But I've run low on power while away from my charger when I use the tablet a lot, so I wanted to get an additional charger to carry around. This is a great on-the-road charger, and it *seems* like it charges the tablet faster than the Samsung charger (although I haven't tested that theory).This charger has a very bright blue light while plugged in; it's very attention-grabbing so that you don't overlook it, but I found it very illuminating (and sleep-depriving) when I tried having this as my main charger during the night and using the Samsung charger as my on-the-road.One caveat is that the Samsung charger's USB cable is removable so you can connect it to a computer (to transfer files or backup), while this is a straight microUSB charger with no removable components to it. I always have a USB cable in my backpack, so this isn't an issue for me.
