Great for teething puppies!
Good Update: As our puppy ages and needs a more durable chew that isnât rock hard as her adult teeth are almost fully in, I contacted the company for possibility of an intermediate chew. They will be rolling out in May with new sizes and more variety in terms of durability and hardness and will have an intermediate level available. As itâs cellulose (basically an insoluble fiber) and veggie oil, even though she has some flakes in her poop, she doesnât have any digestive issues at all nor an upset stomach thankfully!âŠ.We have a close to 5 month old mini Austrialian Labradoodle. Due to her mix of several breeds, she will be a âmouthyâ dog and is definitely teething. Our problem in finding a chew toy is this mix of durability and âgiveâ for a dog her age, preventing damage to teeth without it having to be a treat and also not being concerned that she will chew off giant chunks or if they will make her sick from the small pieces. We currently have the small softer one, it has lasted way longer than the puppy and modest chewer nylabones that are more ârubberyâ and appropriately for young teeth, yet seem to get destroyed quickly. Our puppy would go at them and I was constantly checking, removing pieces that were coming off in larger that rice size pieces. The shavings that she consumed would cause her to throw up.The puppy power chews were much too hard, and she avoids them (which is probably better for her dental health). This one has seemed to fit the bill (along with a Petstages chew maple wood stick, though she prefers this one and this one has zero nylon). The pieces that come off are definitely smaller than a grain of rice (you will have to dustbust the pieces), itâs soft enough for give and has last two weeks!!!! And, she does not get sick from it. I think she actually naturally digests less of it because itâs not sticky.Itâs the perfect size for a puppy or smaller dog who is teething and needs something easier on the tummy and needs a truly modest chew that isnât a food treat.

Best no-toxic chew bones
Our dogs love these bones. I love that there non-toxic and will not harm your dog. It will just come out in there poop. It also does not cut up your dogs mouth like other dog bones. I seen that people said it was poor quality because there dog chewed it up right away, well this is the soft bone you should order the hard bone if you do not want your dog to go there it so fast. This a great chew bone.

My dog loves it but it's too soft and leaves a mess
I ordered the soft and realized I should have ordered the hard. My large adult dog loves it but it leaves little white shreds all over the floor. It's messy! It might be suitable for a puppy but not an aggressive chewer.

Soft vs Hard Chew
My dogs (very strong chewers) are obsessed with the hard version of these chews, but the one we normally get as a monthly subscription was out of stock, so we tried this one as a backup. We didnât realize just howwww major the difference would be, based on just 30 min of chewing the soft one.In the photo, the bottom is the âsoftâ version that was shredded all over the couch - though the pieces once wet were relatively ~soft~ where my dog was eating the pieces. Threw it out within the same hour of opening it lolThe âhardâ version at the top of the photo is one of their old chews from maybe two months ago, demonstrating just how durable those are for aggressive chewers like my dogs. They still work on these daily.I have a 30lb something x chi mix and a 66lb pitbull mix and the small is a great size for them both to share.TL;DR - if your dogs are strong chewers, Iâd definitely recommend the Hard version!

Regular is quite soft; tough is quite hard
I bought three large tough beef on 10/28/23 for my three dogs, a 45 lb. shepherd/pitty mix, a 65 lb. lab/pitty mix, and a 32 lb. Australian cattle dog, all moderate to aggressive chewers. The dogs showed interest, mostly for their novelty, I believe, but soon went back to their collection of Nyla ones, Galileo bones, bullibones, benebone, Gorilla Chews, and Kongs. Check the photo. As you can see, they have very little damage. In my assessment, they are too hard. When they hit the floor, you could swear theyâd shatter from the sound they make, like they are made of porcelain or something. Iâd love to see what their hardness is on the Mohs scale. So, on 11/1/23 a bought the small regular beef 3-pack. Look at the photo, lower left. Enough said? The dogs loved them, but you can scratch these with your fingernails. Too soft! These might be appropriate for the smallest and lightest breeds only. They need to make an intermediate size, and of intermediate hardness. As an aside, those Galileo bones are 5+ years old, are mostly ignored these days, the Nylabones range in age from ~4 years (big red), down to new (the ring), and are enjoyed. They last. Kings are totally ignored altogether unless I suff food in them. The Gorilla Chews are great. They get attention, are all wood, safe, and last a long time, they just need to come in a wider variety of shapes and thicknesses.I like this product, but make a medium size, medium hardness, please.
