When my toslink splitter box went on the fritz a couple of weeks ago, I began to look for another method of splitting the output from our tv set audio to the pair of headsets my wife and I use in the evening. I came across this splitter cable and decided to give it a try. We have had it now for about a week, and have to say that it works better than the box ever did. The box would cut out at times for whatever reason, but this cable has not failed in any way to give less than 100% since we hooked it in. The sound is very sharp and clear, the bass comes booming through. Can't get better than that. Give it a try if you are going to need a 2-way split for your toslink output. You just can't go wrong!

I used this cable to connect a TV cable box and an Apple TV box to a single soundbar. This cable is perfect for this purpose so I don’t have to switch the cable between boxes depending on what input source is used. Product comes well packaged and even includes a small cable strap to keep the cable from getting tangled with other cables behind the TV. Sound quality is awesome from both sources. Only one source can be used at a time of course. Highly Recommend this vendor.

The product was delivered as described and on time. The product worked accordingly and was easy to plug and play. I was able to test it with my two audio systems connected to my TV. It worked great and had no issues with connections and sound.

Didn't work with my equipment. After being split the signal was too weak for one of my devices. Worked fine with full signal but not with split, either output.

I use this cable for my Xbox and DirectTv going into my sound bar. Works great, just only have one input turned on. I accidentally had my Xbox and DirectTv turned on, and there was no sound.EDITAfter a few months, it’s only working from my XBOX to my sound bar. It’s not working from my Direct Tv to my sound bar.

If you are having problems with it just making noise with TV Ears or other TV headset, Make sure to change the source's (TV) optical output to PCM. My 2018 Samsung TV was outputting Dolby from the optical output and that was causing only noise. I too quickly turned around and bought an amplified splitter only to have the same problem. The TV Ears customer support helped me fix the no-sound problem as described above. Otherwise it is a nice slim cord if you do not need extra amplification, but also be aware that they are unequal lengths. One 8ft. And one 5 ft.

Arrived today and was installed immediatelyDoes the work... two inputs one output (from tv and htpc to the receiver that has only one optic input)They both workThe only downside is that the htpc and tv can’t both be turned on... but that's ok. No problem to turn one of them off when not in use

The usb mini power cord on being inserted into the cable dislodged the port itself which came off with the usb mini cable. Cannot now use it. What is the guarantee? Will they replace it ?
