I love that this set has both Imperial and Metric measures on it. I bought it for my apartment in Brazil, but my recipes (and me) are all from the US. This saves me the time and trouble of trying to calculate conversions when cooking.These are the classic Pyrex glass measuring cups, made to last a lifetime and then some. I have a similar set I purchased for my house in the US back in 1980, and those are still in excellent condition. I know these will be well loved by someone long after I am gone...

Good heavy measuring and great for the price

Strong. No warping or bending when full. Doesn't stain or hold orders like plastic. Easy to clean. Clear markings in both metric and imperial (US common) measuring systems. Microwaveable, but be warned they can get extremely hot so do not attempt to pick one up bare handed after its been in the microwave. Pyrex measuring cups (and dishes) can chip, but in my experience it takes a great deal of force at just the right angle. Pyrex is incredibly durable and are often passed down through generations. The measuring lines are not quite so durable. Fading from use and as they age so after 60 or 70 years they can be a little bit harder to read. In short, they are the only product worth more than it's initial price. Get yourself a set. You'll be glad you did.

My cousin had these on her bridal registry and I bought them for her because I know they are a great product. I have owned them myself for over 15 years. Great product. Must have for any cook or baker

I couldn't believe I found 3 of these for this price. I normally have a 2 cup measuring cup.. it's crappy plastic and after a few months of use has cracked so I thought I would check out Amazon for a new Pyrex. It made more sense to buy all 3 instead of buying 1.I've just gotten into candle making and I can see the 1 cup and 4 cup being really useful for this. The only issue I can see happening is the sudden heat change but I'll just let my wax cool a while before pouring into the cups. It's not that big of a deal... It's not like the old Pyrex, you just have to be a little more careful. If you're looking for measuring cups that can handle temp shock then you might wanna go with something else (if there is something else?). But for regular home use these are perfect!! Occasional baking, to microwaving and cooking, this will do just fine.I get that people are upset that it's not the quality it used to be but it's still a good product at a more than fair price. In fact I didn't even know they made 4 cup measuring cups... I could mix cake batter in this thing!As far as my personal use with these I will update when I've used them more. I will say that the handles on the 1 and 2-cup feel small in the hand and kinda awkward compared to the Pyrex I'm used to. I have small hands and I find trouble getting a good grip on those measuring cups. But the 4-cup has a nice big handle no problems with that.I've read the reviews and seen issues with warping and I'm happy to say that there are no abnormalities in the glass. You can feel the seams on the handle but they aren't sharp. I also have no dripping problems when I pour. They are stackable too thankfully!!I will update when I have more useful information but I'm totally happy with them for now. I think this is an awesome deal it would be a great gift to someone moving into their first home.
