Good L Bracket
The L brackets fits very well to my Sony A6600 and access to battery and SD is good. The L bracket adds more area to be use for hand holding the small A6600.I have not utilised the 1/4 thread holes yet, so if any can recommend which cold shoe product will work best i would very grateful.

Unpacked it, fitted it, mounted on tripod. Not used it properly yet
As the title says, I have literally only just received this, but just wanted to add a review to clear up a few questions I had in my mind.I bought this for my Nikon D750, to mount on a Manfrotto MHXPRO-BHQ6 Top Lock Ball Head. It looks to be well made, and fits the body well. My concerns before buying an L bracket were;1) Are the side ports accessible so you can plug in a remote shutter release? - YES see photo2) Is the battery compartment accessible without removing the L Bracket? - YES it is3) Does the tilting screen still work? - Yes it moves out freely3) Does it fit on my ball head? - YES, but note the following. This is a Sunway L Bracket, and there are two small screws on each face to limit the side-to-side movement of the plate. In Landscape orientation it fitted on the ball head, but the small screws were fiddly to line up with the ball head top plate. In Portrait orientation the screws had to be removed. I have now removed all of the screws. Also, the overhang at the the front of the bracket means you need to place the locking screw on this ball head on the 'front' of the tripod. None of this is a big deal really. As I said I have not used this in the field yet, but so far, for £23, it does the job. I have to be happy with that. The alternative was a Kirk, at £100 more!Only awarded 4 stars so far because I have not really used it.

Excellent accessory
Fitted to my Nikon D7500 really securely whilst still enabling access to connection ports. In addition it was a perfect fit for my tripod ballhead mount. Very pleased - great quality and great value for money.

Fits d7500
Got this L bracket which is for the nikon d750 but one of my acquaintance got one for his d7500 as I have the same camera I got one and it indeed fits the d7500 , glove like.Bargain .

Has a problem
Initially this looks a really good product and has cut outs to let you into connectors on the left of the camera and also the battery compartment, but this is where it falls over as there is not enough clearance to allow the battery door to open fully, I suspect if I file a small amount of plastic off the mount the door will open still making this tripod mount a good option.

Just the job
I bought this for my Nikon D7500. I was a bit dubious as to whether it would fit as most other reviews related to the D750. Also the difference in price between this and other L bracket was phenominal. It is a lot lighter than my other 'cheap' L bracket but that is good in my opinion. It appears well made and it does actually fit the D7500 so that you can open the flaps for the cables without the need to remove the bracket. Only criticism I have is that it would have been nice to have a quick release screw rather than me having to find a coin or screw driver if I need to remove the L bracket. However, all in all I am very pleased for the money I paid.

Slightly disappointed.
I bought this for my Sony A6000 as I was used to having an "L" bracket on my Canon DSLR. It was to use on a Benro Precision Geared Head and first impressions were quite good. It wasn't until I turned it to use in the Portrait style that I realized that, because of the cut out on the short side, you need to be very careful where you position it in the quick release mechanism otherwise it will twist in the head. It might just be the Benro system, I don't have anything to compare it to, but be aware if you were thinking of pairing them up.I could live with that but then I realised that I couldn't have a wired shutter release fitted when it was in the Portrait position. Since I rarely use a tripod without a wired release it is really just a fancy quick release plate which can't be turned into the short side.Having said, that it will work with a phone app such as Camrote or Sony's own app.

Like it
It is far better, than I thought. The grip is great. Initially, I thought it would be too large and took it off the L-mount - solidly fixed with 2 small screws, tool is included. But then I put it back on, as it really fits in my hands well. The only negative: the swivel screen cannot be fully opened, unless the vertical mount is taken off - 1 screw, again tool included. And to turn the screen, one has to be a bit careful, but the same is true with the Olympus original L-bracket.One more thing: the bottom screw that fixes the mount to the camera gets loose over time. It is easily fastened with a small coin.Overall, I find this L-bracket better than the Olympus version, which I also tried.
