These pads match my atacs gear and fit well. I have crawled through rocks, sand and cactus with these and they aren't worse for the wear.Pros:Padding is great, can't feel anything you're crawling onNo slip when wearing BDU jacketCons:the velcro straps could come undone if you brush against something hard enough or when they wear outNotes:This would be improved with a better strap system that was more like buckles or the hook and loop commonly found on knee pads. For recreation/PT these are amazing.

Articulated at the knee. I have 4 other brands which do not have above and below the knee segments, and they wind up falling down after a little movement. This one does not move, bind or fall down. I cross bottom to top with the straps (and top to bottom) for extra stability. Shot rifle classes 4 days in the desert without once having them wind up around my ankles. They clean up easily, just rinse them off. Very impressive. I also bought the elbow guards and they are excellent as well.

Did a kitchen remodel and these saved my elbows while working on the lower kitchen cabinets. Sooooooooo happy I had the forethought to buy these before I tackled the job. I may never use them again, but weekend-warrior scares were avoided. A big plus. Oh, and they are comfortable to wear, a little challenging to put on (my Wife came to the rescue).

Good pads for prone position

They fit over my shirt and don't move around. Were purchased for paintball. I am older and got really tired of hurt elbows. If/when the snow is gone and the ground is dry and hard again, we shall see how well they work out on the field. For now, they fit well and I am satisfied with their purchase.*Update* work well and stay in place when used last weekend (6/2013).

These are well padded and offer all day wear protection when led down and stationary. However, joint cups are small for 6-footers like me and they also move around too much to provide adequate protection during an activity such as paintball or skating. I think they need an extra band at the elbow joint or a sleeve in addition to the bands, to hold them in position during activity.

These elbow pads were the only ones that fit me with the adjustable straps they have. Very comfortable padding. I wear mine under a jacket and they are very low profile to fit under my jacket. Happy with purchase.

This one sits on my elbow better as it is longer - these velcro straps are further away from your elbow crease.

They slide, just adjust them tight
