Works well, can utilize the entire clove. No waste
The media could not be loaded. I ordered the bronze garlic press, and it is absolutely beautiful! I have tried it only a couple of times so far, but I like it.I used to own the OXO brand earlier, can't remember why I don't have it anymore. That one is definitely good too, but I like this one better. For one, I can squeeze the garlic through with far less pressure, so it's easier on my hands. I can't imagine how hard it would have been if I had had actual arthritis, ouch! The OXO one has a larger cup and can hold two or three cloves, it also let's you twist it backward to push out the leftovers. But I did not like how it left the outer portions of the cloves still in the cup, unable to push them through at all because of the flat pusher, wasting it. So after you peel away the dry outer shells that must go, the rest of the clove is edible and there's no need to remove more. So now that I'm tired of mincing garlic with a knife and wanted to order another press, I decided to go with one that allows you to use the whole clove. The little bumps on the Zulay cut the clove as it forces it through the holes. The downside is that it's a little harder to clean it since some leftovers stick to the little bumps, but a brush takes it right off. I also was able to rub it off with my fingers under running water. I wouldn't say it's easy to clean, but it isn't hard either. One positive with the OXO is also that you can put a completely unpeeled clove in the cup and give it a squeeze, then peel off the dry skins easily. The Zulay has the tags on it but I tried it anyway, and it worked pretty well. It cuts into the clove a bit so you can't do it too hard, or tiny fragments of the dry skin will get stuck in the tiny indentations you just made in the clove. But they're so tiny it won't matter at all & don't think. I'll experiment on how hard to squeeze to do the trick without much residue. In the reviews some people don't like how some of the garlic squeezes up and out of it, and I too foud that this does happen to a small degree. But I just push it back in and give another squeeze to press this out as well. You can even see it happening in their own video of their product, but I think the press is designed that way. Not that they're intentionally wanting garlic to squeeze out the top, but the little pusher has some room around it and I'm guessing it's necessary for it to have a small amount of wiggle room to move freely into the cup without hitting the sides. Probably they'd receive complaints if that happened, right? So there's a little bit of wiggle room to make it work smoothly, and as a result a small amount of garlic will sometimes squeeze out. To me that's no biggie when it works well otherwise, just push it back in again as you go. Easy peasy.

Great kitchen tool
This product is easy to use. It is very sturdy and crushes garlic like it's nothing. The sleeve it comes with to remove the skin from the garlic works amazing. I was very surprised.

Solid and looks good too
Bought two other more expensive presses before this one. Returned the others because they didn't seem to be very well built, pins holding the 2 pieces together had too much movement and were too bulky. The Zulay press had no play in the handles and was comfortable to use. Will handle 2-3 cloves easily. Can be a bit of a pain to clean, likely due to the nubs going all the way through the basket holes. But this does give the most amount of minced garlic. The copper colored was very stylish too.

Works perfectly
Initially, I had bought an OXO Garlic press, but ended up Returning it because the mechanism was too complex with too many parts. And it was a hell of a lot more expensive than this one. This one works great is high-quality and durable, and it Crushes the garlic perfectly. Definitely no need to spend a bunch of money on a garlic press. This one works great!!

Attractive for a garlic press.
Works well. To clean you might want to purchase a dish brush. Happy with my purchase.

Productive, but not so ergonomic especially for small hands.
The good: Large capacity, three cloves fit in the compartment (but made it too hard for me to squeeze); pokey bits pushed a lot out through the holes. The not-so-good: Nothing particularly ergonomic/comfortable about the handle at all. The larger capacity means more squeeze-strength is required. Better leverage in the design would improve that. Would like to have seen cushioning or thicker padding and a curved lower handle that would allow fingers to reach around more easily - like good pruners! I've used my mother's old garlic press from the 50s forever and I think it might be more comfortable than this one. It's smaller and doesn't require as much squeeze. I think Zulay made this for BIG HANDS, not mine.Def need the brush/tool to clean the inside and the pokey bits after use. Don't lose it!

Press On....
This garlic press is next level in allowing you to crush garlic on an as needed basis versus buying already minced garlic. It's easy to use and very efficient. (Add to cart)

The Garlic Destroyer!
This garlic press works amazingly well, it annihilates garlic. The previous presses I have used jam up with skin and pulp. This one is designed so well it powers through everything. First use has my wife and I very impressed. Easy to clean and efficient to use. Great value.

Effective and Pretty
I haven't used a garlic press since I lived with my mom 25 years ago; bought this on a whim and I'll never go back to the peel and chop. This press works beautifully and *bonus* it is as lovely as the photos. My mom's press had a matching bit that helped clean the skin out, a handy feature but I honestly haven't missed it with this press. Rinsed after use and it keeps clean just fine.

Pretty good with a few issues
Feels and looks good / plastic “wrap” peeling off and hard to get off. Rubber inner insert falls out. A little more wobble than I would like in the handle when press is in use. For the price, it’s good.
