I've been searching for a privacy screen protector for some time now that isn't tempered glass because 1. I don't need it and 2. it would prevent my laptop from fully closing since I have a keyboard cover. Although this Forito privacy screen protector is advertised to work with a series of MacBook Pro's, I've seen two reviews stating it's also compatible with the MacBook Air 13.3" M1, so I decided to take my chances. Turns out, it is a perfect fit! It doesn't obstruct the camera and isn't too wide or too long. It's a nice matte finish, which is something I have to get used to. For some reason, I prefer a glossy finish, even though the glare and reflection of myself can be annoying at times (I know, it's strange). With this matte finish, images appear less vibrant, and the screen appears dimmer (even with the brightness on the highest setting). It's like you're looking at the screen through tinted blue-light glasses. This is not a flaw or defect. It's just the nature of the product, so this is something to keep in mind. The quality of the actual screen protector is great. It's not flimsy yet; it's not too thick. I have no issue closing my laptop with a keyboard cover. From a side view, you can hardly tell that it's there. The giveaway is the small cutout for the camera.In terms of privacy, it's exactly what I was looking for. Anyone sitting beside you will see a blank screen. Even from afar, you can hardly see anything. The only times others will be able to view your screen is when they're directly behind you or are looking at it straight on. As we all know, some people are very nosy, and it's uncomfortable when you can feel or see a complete stranger looking at your screen. It's intrusive and is an invasion of privacy. It's the reason why I always leave my laptop at home. Now that I have this privacy screen protector, I feel much more comfortable bringing it with me knowing that I don't have to worry about prying eyes.Now let's talk about application. Honestly, this is the best application I've ever experienced... especially since it's a much larger screen than your average phone. It comes with all the tools you need, and the instructions are crystal clear. I think it's genius how you are required to use three stickers to set the screen protector in place before the actual application. You don't have to worry about it being crooked or uneven, which makes for an easy application. It took me two tries because the first time, I got a ton of air bubbles.If you're looking for a reliable, good-quality privacy screen protector for your MacBook Air 13.3" M1 (or MacBook Pro), then I highly recommend purchasing this one by Forito. This screen protector is a lifesaver! The anti-glare feature really helps reduce eye strain during long work hours, and the privacy filter blocks side views perfectly. Easy to apply and fits my MacBook Air 13” like a glove. Highly recommend!

This was easy to apply, stays clean easily, and works super well, I have had it on for almost a year and it doesn’t have any scratches or anything!

Loved it, works as advertised. It darkens the screen a little so it takes some getting used to it. It also only block from side view so if someone sneaks from above there’s no privacy there.The install was pretty easy but you have to lift back up if you have bubbles.

Overall good, however…The label that helps guide (the one that either says front or back, leaves a residue when removing, the guide stickers also leave a residue. Yes I can use goo gone however is that something I want to put on a brand new MacBook? No, at least I don't. When peeling to adjust and remove the air bubbles the corners start kind of looking like it’s starting to peel off.If you are patient enough you can remove almost 95% bubbles, so I made peace with whatever little ones I couldn’t remove or love to the corner without pressing on the screen too hard.Pros, it does the job as far as privacy, you won’t have that much of a problem with people who don’t mind their own business.The product does not come with a camera cover either.

Great price for a great product. I've been using my new screen protector for over a month and since I installed it I've had no issues, it does not make the original screen blurry, it's very clear. Costumer service responded promptly to my email and was very helpful in getting me the right size for my laptop. I'm super happy with it and I recommend this to anyone looking for a good product at a good price.

I've had privacy screens on laptops before where it was barely noticeable. This particular privacy screen has lines throughout (to account for the privacy) but it literally looks like i'm looking through blinds on a window trying to do work on this computer. Unfortunately I can't return it because it's essentially a sticker that I paid $17 for. I will use it for now and hopefully I will get past these lines, my gosh.

Works great for all intensive purposes, only downside is sometimes decreases the brightness of the laptop (expected) but also makes the screen look pixelated due to the polarization effect of the screen protector.
