Must have for printing PLA on Bambu X1C
TL;DR - this is the one and only upgrade I would recommend for the X1C.After struggling with the stock "cool" plate, using glue sticks and hairspray, I finally tried this PEI plate. Printing PLA with this plate with the appropriate stock settings (4.0 nozzle, Hight Temp Plate , Generic PLA), I'm getting perfect first layers every single time and they release extremely easily while the plate is still hot.I did prefer the smooth finish of the cool plate for some of my products, but the textured finish is aesthetically pleasing, and the consistency is just killer. Now my 3D printer is no longer a tool, but a simple set and forget appliance. If you're on the fence, and are OK with a textured first layer, DO IT!

Gives that Smooth Shiny Glass Like Look (Updated Review)
I got the Double Smooth PEX plate for my Bambu X1 Carbon. I wanted to be able to get that glass like shiny smooth surface on some prints (helps when gluing) and I'm not really happy with Bambu's engineering plate. Their PEX plate though is top notch but too rough for some applications.I've now printed 3 "plates" of multiple items in PLA with this build plate and I have had zero issues so far. Adhesion was fine, removal was insanely simple (cool the plate a little and flex the plate slightly and then go find the parts on the floor as they all slide off the plate at once). The plate shows no signs of being used (unlike the Bambu cold plate) and still looks brand new. I'm not sure why other are having so many issues? I did remove the thin protective plastic seal on both sides (but not the actual PEX material which is thicker). I did nothing to prep the plate after I removed the plastic and just threw it in the printer. With the reviews I was expecting the worst but was happy to see I had none of the reported issues. I haven't seen a glass plate for the Bambu and creating one would be problematic with the nozzle cleaning/magnetic attachment, etc. and thus far this plate is a perfect substitute. I would absolutely buy another if this one wears out; my printer runs non-stop.Will update if anything changes but so far so good. Make sure you use the "High Temp Plate" setting in the slicer with this plate.Update: So PLA works great on this plate. PETG ruins it. If you get it, only use it for PLA. I threw mine out after a PETG print ruined it. If you use PETG the outline of what you printed is permanently embedded in it and then it appears on every subsequent print.

Generally works... depending on firmware... sometimes...
It's a good printing plate, but depending on your firmware update, there may be a warning that the plate is not compatible with some of the features of the X1C (such as the LIDAR). Generally the prints stick well when heated to 55*C or higher and release after it cools all the way down to 36*C. Occasionally I would have to bend the plate to get prints off, but I have had a couple of instances where the print stuck so well, bending it broke the print itself. I was told to use a layer of glue stick to alleviate that, but the whole point of the PEI plate was to avoid doing that to begin with.My only complaint is the waiting time for prints to cool. I will continue to use this plate as a backup, but with the original plate, I feel more productive when I have the confidence that the print will not stick and there is no "cooldown" time to deal with.Would I still recommend it? Probably, but with the caveat that if you are looking to make several plates of prints and do not have a lot of time to wait for the cooldown.

Well made and so far working great.
Mostly bought this for the smooth side as I already have a double sided textured PEI build plate that came with my X1C. This has filled that need perfectly. I use it mostly for TPU. I spray it with hair spray to make the TPU easier to remove and it works very nicely.

Best build plate I have found
I have a Bambu X1C and a P1S. I turned off the QR code scanning and just manually set it in Bambu Studio and have not tried it on the X1C so I can not speak to the other comments mentioning that issue, but this would be an easy fix. I purchased several different build plates because I did not want to pay the premium of the Bambu one. This one is now my go to plate to use now. Any issues with adhesion is easily fixed with Dawn soap and water and it is like new again.

The Markings for the bed are incorrect.
I like that it can be compatible with the X1c scanner, it should be able to function like a stock bed with the markings. However the markings on the bed are for a PLA Cool plate not the Textured PEI sheet. This causes some confusion with the printer when I Try to use the proper settings. I would not recommend this product until the get this straightened out. OR if they provided better instructions on how to properly use their product. Disappointed.

One MUST increase the bed tem. to 70C or even higher for the filament to stick.
I struggled a little bit, but after increasing the temp. to 70C it was working fine!My printer, Bambu X1C can read info from the plates, but it failed to read it. I can read it, but something isn't done right. So make sure you DISABLE Bambu X1C from reading the info.Otherwise I'm happy with it, since the default that came with my printer was textured on both sides.Bambu should include smooth surface and the manufacture of this plate should test if my model can read the plates info!

Works great... except for the ArUco / QR code Not working
2 month update: I’ve been printing daily on this plate, it works good. When adhesion is poor, it’s time to wash it with soap and a brush.I hope 3D hub releases a dual smooth pei plate! This plate works great, printed a dozen different objects and it releases perfectly. Much better than the standard plate since it doesn't require any glue.Just print, release object, scrape with plastic scraper to clean, and wipe with alcohol before next print. Super simple. As for the ArUco / QR code not being recognized, this is a Bambu Labs issue - you can just ignore the build plate warning or print a higher contrast QR code for the plate.

Flakes onto Print
Flakes onto prints, leaving behind residue on the plate that doesn't seem to come off with soap or alcohol. Terrible item.

Super good quality
With the pex plate go to printables and get the start and end g-codes for your machine just follow the instructions and your prints will be near perfect and they will come off the plate when it cools down i found the stock profile makes it stick to much and marks the build plate.

Dual-Sided Smooth & Textured PEI Plate
To be clear, this is for the [Dual-Sided Smooth & Textured PEI Plate]Replaces the cold plate on the X1C. This sticks RIDICULOUSLY well. Normally I can remove the prime line by pulling the blob but now I have to scrape and peel. Adhesion so far after 5 prints is great. It loses a star for being TOO sticky. I used the gold PEI from the P1S on the X1C... prints just slide off when cold. This... doesn't. On the plus side I suppose you can have a better chance to resume print after a power interruption since it will not shift at all.
