Awesome!
I used these on a trip to Costa Rica. We were NOT vacationing on a resort, rather, working in the jungle with conservation teams to set up tap cameras to track jaguar population and behaviors as well as patrolling the beaches at night for turtle nests to be relocated to a hatchery in order to help increase the critically endangers hawksbill population. I used one insert for the whole week and saw less bites than without. Sand fleas are still an issue, but I think that is obvious to any one with common sense.

Great device that helps

Love the smell
Works well, but doesn’t last long. It is pretty much a one time use because there is no way to preserve the bit that goes in the bracelet.

Wristband is comfortable, creates a cloud of scent when I move my arm, hopefully it helps
I ordered this Cliganic mosquito repellent wristband because I don’t care for repellant sprays.— The “pellets” are actually two little flat citronella-infused pieces of rubbery polyethylene plastic. One is inserted into an elastic mesh pocket which is sewn onto the back of the soft fabric wristband.— The wristband is a bright teal color, with white velcro and a white mesh pellet pocket. I’d like just a plain nondescript color– tan or black– even better. But teal is okay.— When opening a pellet, I saved the crisp plastic packet that it came in. After using it, I moved the pellet back to the plastic packet and resealed the top with clear packing tape to reduce evaporation and extend the life of the pellet.— The pellets are ¾” wide and 1 ½” long x ⅛“ thick; thus they are a choking hazard and shouldn’t be used around young children. The side of the box warns, “Use with adult supervision. Not intended for children under the age of 3. Do not lick, swallow, or ingest pellets. Wash hands after handling.”– The pellets can be used with other Cliganic products, such as their carabiner clips. The Cliganic pellet system is basically a way of getting citronella scent (plus geraniol, geranium, and peppermint scent) very close to your body without actually touching your skin or staining your clothing. If you find that scents confuse your local mosquitoes and reduce bites for you, then this is a wearable option.

Didn't work for me
Mosquitos love me, and this didn't stop them.

Easy way to keep the bugs at bay without getting sticky or directly smelly
I'm outside at night a lot for my astrophotography and certain locations and times of year can have an annoying amount of mosquitos about. I hate using the sprays if I can avoid them because the chemicals in them could harm the coatings on my optics or simply cause blemishes in my images. Also, I hate feeling sticky and smelly from having some bug sprays directly on your skin, it's so nice to feel like when I get home i can go straight to bed instead of needing a shower first. I like solutions like this that can still repel the bugs in a very clean way.The pellets are fairly strong smelling when first opened and lasted pretty well through the evening to the extent that i could smell it pretty strongly still during the hour drive home. It's pretty easy to get the pellet in and out of the mesh pocket in the wristband and the wristband itself is soft and not annoying even on my large adult wrist. It seemed to do well enough at keeping the bugs away, although it's always a little arbitrary to try to compare since I've seen the number of bugs and level of their annoyance can vary pretty significantly even at the same location.I do wish there was a way to simply recharge the pellets instead of having to throw them out and open a new one each time since my outings are normally several days, sometimes weeks, apart. I may see if I could manually re-wet them with some kind of regular bug spray (don't see why not), but I haven't tried it yet. It would probably be a cheaper way than buying tons of pellets, too.

I like keeping these on hand. Always needed in Florida.
