My work involves a lot of climbing and rappelling and I finally upgraded my helmet after many years. This helmet fits well and has held up great under challenging conditions. I’m very happy with this purchase.

One of the components to the plastic part that connects to your head strap, snapped off already, poor quality plastic.

The helmet I received is matte blue and is a very nice looking color. The helmet is quickly and easily adjustable to fit a variety of head sizes. The depth of this helmet is very shallow, making it ride high on my head, so I get almost no protection for the back of my head, and there is a large gap above my ears and below the rim of this helmet where the mid-portion of my skull is not well protected. Wearing the helmet, it doesn’t really look right either, because it is just too shallow. This will protect the top of my head quite well from anything falling straight down, but not much else. The lack of a significant rim limits the usability of this as well, as it is unlikely to reflect any debris falling at a slight angle.As a sports helmet, it will provide modest skull protection in the event of a fall. I could probably use this as a bike or scooter helmet, it is better than not wearing a helmet, but this is definitely not as protective as my other helmets and most common sports helmets.Finally, this isn’t cheap. For the price, the build, the level of head coverage/protection, and the look, it is hard to recommend this helmet.

This climbing helmet has every safety feature I can ask for. It employs a simple, but effective size adjustment to ensure a good fit. Just turn a knob in the back to tighten or loosen the fit. The 4 headlamp clips are essential for continuing when the sun goes down.Examining the helmet, there is a single thick piece of foam inside the hard shell to absorb impacts to the head. The air vents are large and well placed. I needed to move the inside padding as it was blocking one of the vents. The padding is attached by Velcro and adjusting was easy.The helmet is lightweight and comfortable to wear. I didn’t see any issues wearing this helmet all day. There is a sticker inside the helmet states EN 12492:2012 certification. This means it has met the safety requirements and testing methods for helmets used in mountaineering and climbing as specified by the European Standard (EN).The style of the helmet looks good on a table. However, on my head, it rides tall and looks somewhat odd. That is a shame considering all the great attributes this helmet has. Self-conscious people may decide not to wear the helmet because how it looks on them. I have to deduct a star for this.

I like everything about this helmet, but I will get a lighter color next time. It is super comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. It fits well and has the best chin strap in my opinion. Good ventilation. It is stylish and easy to carry when not on my head.

this is a great helmet, for climbing, or whatever you may need it for. It is adjustable for the proper fit, and comfort. It is very lightweight, but strong and durable.it looks great and does its job. It offers all the protection you will need, without getting in the way. Great product, great price, highly recommended.
