Great value and works perfect if you switch the wires. Also need to short the E lock wires.
Instructions are lacking and it is manufactured wrong but is easy to fix thanks to previous reviews. Not all wires are labeled but using the picture in the description and process of elimination you can deduce the function. My pictures show the connecter that needed reconfigured, the tab that you push in to remove the pins and the electric lock connector. The electric lock connector needs shorted by a jumper or key switch for the controller to turn on. The brake connector when shorted stops power to motor but does not do any regen braking. 20 volts is not enough. Minimum voltage is 24v. I used two 20v's in series to make 40volts.

Good value if your good at wiring, deppining and have an understanding of controllers.
This controller works well after fining that the power wires were opposite in the plastic clip leading to the power input of the controller. The throttle wires were also in the wrong orientation, after depinning and figuring out the proper orientation it works fantastic. 4 stars because it didn't come pre wired correctly bit it does work. Ended up using these on x2 e300 razors scooters. These have 53 volt capacitors, should be able to safely over volt to 36v for some extra power in the future.

Controller arrived dead
This is the second controller I've used so I'm aware that some of the connectors are wired backwards. But after verifying everything was corrected and wired correctly there is no power. I tried making sure all the capacitors were drained then re-energizing the system without using the throttle I smelled burning....I haven't opened it up to find the issue, I would just like a replacement please.

Good speed control
It works well for the price and gave my mini bike the torque it needed at take off and now can actually go up hills and through dirt no issues

Worked great for the money.
Used several of these for running 12volt powerwheel type vehicles at 24+ volts. One unit I had to pull apart to sort out wiring out of several I forget which. No failures yet tho!

Qc lacking greatly
Seemed like a solid unit until I looked at the wiring the shipping packages were in great shape no problems but the wiring was cut in several spots going to patch it up and give it a shot at this point I don't have any real options to have there bike ready in time other than patching it up and the supposed display would have been nice I should have read the reviews more thoroughly live and learn I guess

Works good!
Had to reverse the motor wires and throttle, but this over bolted a 24v motor beautifully!

Works great
This set up works amazing bought to to retrofit an old Razor MX350 for my son. variable speed throttle works amazing everything works as it should the only downside there was no wiring diagram that came with it but was able to find it online. Now the little bike works better than new.

Works for Razor MX350 but NEED To Redo ALL WIRING!!!
This unit comes with a throttle and even it is wired wrong as delivered. I bought this controller and throttle combo to install in a little Razor MX350 electric dirtbike to have a variable - progressive throttle. The stock throttle is either on or off and does not teach proper throttle control. To use this on a MX350 virtually all wiring connections were wrong and/or needed to be redone to work properly and not fry the new controller. Glad I read other reviews that mentioned this. I attached a photo of how the wires should be when using on a MX350. Can see in photo the red and blue wires are 'jumped' for testing as this will go to a on/off switch. Black and yellow go to the brake wiring as a motor interrupt, so no power can be applied when on the brakes. You will need to un pin the new connectors to switch wires around as needed and to reuse some of your old controller plug ends instead so they can match and connect. 30min job when know whats what, 1-2hr or never done/"doesnt work" if have no clue... common sense and a multimeter FTW :)

Thrust handle wiring is wrong and blue and red wires must be shorted for it to work.
1. Rewire the thrust handle connector to match the device's side wire's colours - i.e. red to red, black to black and white to blue.2. Add a ON/OFF switch or simply short blue and red wires (door lock) wires. After that worked fine with an old brushed 24V motor from a mobility scooter.
