Replaced our old whole house filter and saved some money.
This unit was received on time and in good condition. It is a replacement for our previous name brand which lasted about 6 years. Very happy with the initial purchase and impression of this unit. Looks to be well-made and after the flushing process and installation, there are no issues or leaks. Only time will tell how long it lasts, but for the savings, we are happy and hoping it lasts another 6 years. Recommend this product and seller.

Leaks
The media could not be loaded. Received filter on January 3, 2025. Installed next to our water softener on January 4, 2025. On March 9, 2025 the filter started leaking from between the tank and the black plastic cap where the fittings are. Called company Monday 10 March, but no one was there. Left them a message through their online support via Amazon. Hopefully someone will contact me soon. It's been installed for only 2 months and now I have water on the garage floor. Hopefully we can resolve this so I can update this review.*UPDATE* to review above. The company contacted me and sent another filter. I had to pay the shipping. The new filter has been installed for 30 days now. So far no leaks noted.

great product to pair with your softener
Install and use was very simple. took about 30 minutes to initially flush the tank. all instructions are included and very easy to follow. I paired this with a AO Smith pre-filter and a water boss model 900 water softener.

Easy to install, doesn't take up much space, water is a little softer
I installed this in our house, and it was rather easy to install, I cut the main line right after it came into the house and plumbed this into my plumbing. It doesn't take up much space, smaller than most water softeners. I think the water is softer a little bit but still hard to tell as it is very new in our house. I do like the fact that there won't be any purchasing of salt and having to haul the heavy bags down to our basement.

Came with all the parts
I have a unique install , but nothing too difficult if you have rudimentary pipe fitting skills. It was a cheaper unit compared to one of similar specs. Not difference in water pressure …

Not sure what to say
I flushed it out, but the water never came out black (or dark). After following the directions for flushing it, connected it, washed several loads of laundry, took several baths and the water still taste weird, my throat feels funny after I drink the water.I’m not saying it doesn’t work, but I just don’t see or feel any difference.
