Perfect
This fan fits my MSI GE62 apache pro perfectly. My old fan was making a terrible noise and when removed barely spun. This one works great. I had no idea how much air was supposed to be coming out of the exhaust! The big hairball in between the fan and rear heatsink could've had something to do with that too.....All in all if my other fan starts acting up I won't hesitate to purchase the same fan for the other side.

Simple to install, well at least once you get to the old one LOL. Recommend this replacement fan!

May or May Not Work
This 3-wire didn't work to replace my 4-wire, but that might just be me personally.The wire for PWM fans that this one doesn't have happened to be the 2nd or 3rd pin so I couldn't align this 3-wire in a way to work properly.

fan is underpowered
The installation was easy (thanks MSI!) but the fan part on this page is 0.4A whereas the fan it replaces is 0.55A so you're missing about 25% of the potential power that the replacement fan should have.
