I got these high visibility to try as I was looking for something that would help being more visible when out on the dark mornings and evening moving rescue dogs in and out of my dog rescue van, also a great bonus with them being Velcro fasteners means I can also attach to my dog walking belt and leads etc... They do stand out even during the day letting people know that you are there, so making actives more safter.The cover has 3 reflective lines dotted down the yellow fabric, plus 3 nice strong Velcro strips also dotted down the fabric too. They are an ideal size measuring 17.7" and 2.7" wide covers that sit perfect on my van seat belt straps, so an added bonus for other drivers to see you even when traveling.They seem to be made from a great quality reflective fabric that is tear-resistant and seem waterproof too, so should plenty of daily use and should last a long time. High visibility, perfect for runners to add them to straps of backpacks.They do not have any thickness so don't think that could potentially add any protection from straps to make them more soft.Those are just a fabric with velcro that size is mostly for driving belts
