These are good but the chain for the lid needs to be much longer.

I had found red stained/colored mason jars at the dollar store and I wanted to make my own lanterns, so this product/package was/is perfect. I really like everything about the set. I had one suggestion which the maker stated they would add to the set; it is the piece that goes around the wick and sits on the lid so the flame is not directly on the top of the lid (I used a thick nut that I spray painted black). They stated they would add that piece. I definitely recommend this product and will purchase more.

I like the look of this jar, and it does burn well. However the lid when lit seems like the pain catches fire and then the flame is a little out of control. I will use, but may plan to buy a nee lid and wick system.

Cute but very small.

I ordered 2 sets if these & they were both missing the chains to connect the cap to the jar lid. Hoping I can find something to fix that!

I live in an apartment so I don’t really have anywhere to put large tiki torches, and I wanted to do my own table ones! These were a great idea and I will surely buy over and over again!!! I got my mason jars at the Dollar Tree ($1 each). Instructions for tiki torch fluid and DIY mason tiki we’re very simple and only took about 2 minutes. Be careful as you can see the flame is VERY HIGH so keep away from anything flammable (papers, plants, umbrellas). Also, be careful putting the snuffer on. I had to flip it up quickly in the same direction the wind blew - with the flame so high it makes it difficult to put the snuffer on.

This was a great buy. I keep mason jars so this quick adaption was a great find. Over all this set up comes out cheaper than if you purchase the pre-made tiki burners, and I ended up with one more for the money spent. I recommend bring them in after use....someone in my neighborhood saw them and liked them so much that they took the two I had out. So I will be purchasing another set to replace the ones that went AWOL.

I love the idea of these. I bought them. There is nowhere to attach the chain from the little cpas to the lid. It shows them attached. So strange. I just bent the ring on the end to fit around the metal where the wick comes out.Not exactly the best.
